easy clean up. I bought it 3 years ago and used it 2 times and the motor burnt out. had to finish slicing 20 pounds of bacon by hand. So mad I threw it in the dumpster. Will not buy it again.

This slicer does an okay job for some tasks. I bought this hoping to use it to slice roasts and deli meats at home. Unfortunately it lacks the speed to slice softer more rare cuts of meat. I have found it does a great job with thicker meats like BBQ sliced pork. If your looking for a machine to do thin slices this probably is not for you. I have found the only way to get thin slices is to partially freeze the meat before slicing.

Works well, easy to clean, easy to move for storage when not in use. So glad I found this, it has saved me so much time in slicing things in the kitchen. I would recommend this product!!

We bought this to use over the holidays, and it works fine. Seems to have plenty of power for it's size. Good buy for the money.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tjc6901 Very Difficult To Clean
I was very excited to get my new meat slicer. I received it rather quickly, thanks to The Home Depot. I went for the more expensive one because I figured it would have more power and features, but alas, I was wrong. I was very happy with the size and quality of the slicer. It was everything I expected it to be...Until I turned it on. I was very surprised at how slow the cutting blade spun but I figured as long as it cuts the meat who cares. Well, it did cut the meat but it was very difficult to keep the chunk of meat from sliding around on the food carriage. The Food Presser is just too small. The tines on the front side are way to small to grip the meat sufficiently to push it through the blade. I had to use a great deal of force to keep the meat from sliding around. I had to stop every 2-3 slices and adjust the presser. So, I eventually finished cutting the meat and was ready to clean up the unit. What a nightmare this was. It took twice as long to clean the thing than it did to cut the meat. The only part that comes off is the blade the rest of the unit doesnt come apart and you have to use a sponge or paper towel to get into all the little nooks to get the meat shavings out. I do not see myself using this product that much because of that reason alone. What a shame, I really wanted this to work for me. I may return it.
