Sounds more like a night light than a light to illumine an entire room from the ceiling fan. Can you clarify? thanks.

Answer:
The light included with this light kit is a 13 Watt CFL that is a replacement for a 60 Watt incandescent light, and provides an equivalent amount of light at a lower wattage.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy! Super easy to install! The light fits and functions well. I will be purchasing another soon. July 27, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Attractive Light Kit We bought this light kit to attach to the Hampton BayGazebo II 42 in. Indoor/Outdoor White Ceiling Fan we bought for our front porch. It is attractive, has no openings to let in rain, was easy enough to install, and the price was reasonable. It functions well - I am happy! January 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We are very pleased with the purchase. The light kit was purchased to replace individual spots which had stopped working. The installation was straight forward. The appearance of the new lights was a big improvement over the original spots. February 4, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I didn't use for intended installation This was not used for the intended installation. I modified a ceiling fan that had a small candelabra base to this so to use a standard light. That is the only reason I gave it a low rating on ease of installation. December 10, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Schoolhouse Glass Ceiling Fan Ligh The switch to turn on the light is positioned in such a way that the chain has to be pulled straight out and cannot be turned on from below. Not a good design as you have to get a chair to turn the light on. Was greatly disappointed as I didn't reallize this until I had it installed. I definetely would not recommend this to anyone. December 11, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good kit for the price Really easy to put together, ten minutes and I was done. Installed in my apartment where they only had a fan and I wanted to add some light for the room. Works great so far. June 5, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy installation Purchased this kit to use with a Hampton Bay Gazebo II ceiling fan. It was simple to install myself (after I installed the fan). I wish it was a bit brighter, but it works fine for our extra bedroom. August 18, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fan ligt kit I had an electrician working on my house install it. Works fine. May 8, 2012
