Answer:
These are not sold as exterior fan blades but I picked up the package of exterior blades in the store and they were so heavy compared to this that I went with these. They are protected in a patio area no exposure to moisture and so far they are just fine and I don't expect to have any issues.

The overall installed width from end to end is 42". The individual length of the blade is approx 16-18". Unless you have specialty blades on your fan, these should work.

Answer:
They have a slight wood grain look to the blade so they are not completely smooth. They will fit most fans but not all fans. I would check with the manufacturer of the fan.

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Saved the day The blades were easy to replace with the replacement blades. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fit my fan I had what seemed to be a 30" old outdoor patio fan with filthy, damaged fan blades. These were too long but the hole pattern was perfect. The fan actually runs better with the longer blades. It was too manic before. Only bad thing, I was installing them and ended up one short. Didn't realize the fan had 6 blades. Oddball fan but these replacement blades are great. January 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by these did NOT fit onto my Hampton Bay fan, returned. Thiese would NOT fit onto my existing Hampton Bay fan May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good fit, great look I purchased these to replace old and age-stained blades on an existing fan. I had revamped the room it was in, and needed something to match the changes. When I ordered these, I didn't realize they were reversible. I had to wait for them to arrive at the store (not in stock), but well worth the wait. One side is white (which is what I was expecting to use), and the other side is what I call weathered oak, reddish brown wood color with gray grain accents and a tiny hint of a light blue tint. A perfect match for the room. They are good and sturdy, and matched the existing holes on the fan perfectly. This was good, since I had no idea what the fan make was. For me, this item works perfectly, and I expect it to last a long time. March 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice fan blades at a good price Very attractive and easy to install. I am using them on my back porch in Florida. December 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fan...tastic These fan blades were easy to install. They brought new life to an old fixture. Didn't realize how worn and faded the old blades were. October 13, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by well made but... Very well made but didn't fit my Hampton Bay fan so had to return. Suggest product says which makes it fits to. September 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Did the job After years of using a fan on a screened porch, the blades had become warped from exposure to the elements. Changing blades was so much easier than installing a new fan. July 8, 2015
