Answer:
You actually measure the entire width of the fan when it is assembled, like the wingspan of a bird, to get the correct size. That's why you'd see 52" fans having blades that are much shorter than that. Since there isn't a standard size for any fan, indoor or outdoor, I'd say take one down and bring it to your nearest Home Depot Lighting Dept. Answer:
Generally outdoor fans tend to have a greater blade span than indoors types, usually 52" to 60" and up. Be sure to check this before you purchase any blades.

Answer:
Our blades are only sold in packs of 5. When you change out a blade you have to change all of them at one time. They are weighed and balanced.

Answer:
You can find single replacement blades, though they seem to come mainly in packs of 5. Not bad considering you might need spares in the future... Also check hole placement before you buy; they're different for various makers.

Check the hole placement first; these blades are made by Westinghouse, and seem better suited for Hunter fans.

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Spindly & cheap The blades are narrow and cheap looking. Granted they weren't expensive but I couldn't even find any Hampton Bay replacement blades which is really annoying due to the number Home Deot must sell and these are nowhere near the size or quality of the original ones. We had to drill our own holes which tore up the blades because they're a pressed board. The only reason I didn't return was because it was a hassle to drill & they're up. The color is nice July 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Blades are OK Bought these blades to replace one hardware attachment that broke on my Hunter fan. Since we bought the Westinghouse hardware that did not fit the holes in my Hunter blades, I was forced to buy these. Home Depot only had one choice in size in white or wood color. They are smaller than our original Hunter blades, that were still in great condition. I will recommend these Westinghouse replacement blades not for beauty. They are just minimal and do get the job done but not as good as our Hunter blades. April 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Prayers answered! My husband broke one of the ceiling fan "arms" and rather than replace the entire fan we were able to switch "arms" and blades from another fan in our house and replace the other blades with the ones we purchased from Home Depot. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked out well after enlarging the holes Holes had to be made larger to fit my fan. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase. September 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Blades fine as a generic replacement. Blades needed to have holes drilled to match Hunter fan. August 4, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Attractive But Not A Universal Fit Recently purchased a home whose ceiling fan blades didn't match my decor. Hoped that buying replacement blades, advertised to be a universal fit, would be a less expensive and easier way to solve the problem. Unfortunately, the pre-drilled holes, while small, didn't work with my fan. On the plus side, when my contractor brought down an old fan blade to show me why the replacement blades wouldn't work, we discovered that the top side of the old blade (which faced the ceiling) was the right color. He was able to flip the five existing fan blades and this set was returned to Home Depot for a quick refund. October 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fan blades These fan blades are sturdy, seem to be durable and very easy to install. June 30, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Fan Blades Pressed paper product overlayed with a plastic laminate faux wood. Overpriced at $30 for a pack of 5. June 9, 2015
