Answer:
This ceiling fan uses a 40 watt maximum candelabra base light bulb. We recommend a G16 1/2 light bulb and these are included with the ceiling fan. To change the light bulbs, you need to align protrusions from the light kit and lift the glass up allowing the protrusions to engage the indentations on the glass, and twist the glass clockwise to lock into place. The instructions are listed in our Instruction Read More

Answer:
This fan can be hung on a sloped ceiling with up to a 15° slope angle. If the slope angle is larger you can use our Cathedral ceiling fan canopy kit. This can be used for up to a 45° angle.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 61 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase for the $ Finally fans in my kids rooms. Now they are happy. Easy to install and perfect size for their 12 by 12 rooms! May 17, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy! These fans have a nice, modern look, and at $80, I thought they were a good deal. But they are noisier than the old fans they replaced. I almost had one installed in the bedroom, but I went with a Harbor Breeze there instead, which I can barely hear. The Westinghouse fans really make a racket! May 17, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by exchanged fan We decided to return the brushed nickel fan and exchanged it for the gunmetal fan. The blades on the brushed nickel fan looked kind of cheap. They had a gray edge and were dark wood on one side and light wood on the other side. Unfortunately, if we were standing in the hallway outside of the bedroom the fan was in, we could see the color of the opposite side of the blade. It just didn't look very good. So we tried out the gunmetal fan instead. We are much happier with the gunmetal. It looks beautiful. The only thing we didn't like about the gunmetal fan was the color of the pull chains (gold). That was an easy fix. We just bought new pull chains in bronze for $6 (better match than the gold). It looks great with bronze pull chains. We plan to buy two more fans in gunmetal for our other bedrooms. Nice fan for a great price and provides a good breeze and lighting for 12x12 room space. I would give the gunmetal fan 5 stars but am only giving the brushed nickel 3 stars. May 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great This fan is for a small bedroom. It looks good but the wind/air is not as high as I would have liked.ga April 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy Easy enough to install & nice looking. However, I agree, motor makes ridiculously loud hum when on low, a bit less on med & high seems to be fine. Sounds like a jet engine at night, when all is quiet. Shame really for such a commonplace item... April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fan!! Great looking fan! The size is perfect with the amount of air circulated and amount of light. It is a little louder than we hoped for on the lowest speed, but great fit for our small living room. April 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Modern look. Affordable price. I had some issues having the item shipped to my house. It arrived broken and packed very poorly. After an hour of talking with the online support team (and returning the broken item in store) I received an extra 10% off and expedited shipping. They don't sell this fan at my local HD. The new item arrived pretty quick and unbroken. The fan is extremely easy to install. For the size the fan puts off a good amount of air movement. It's quite, modern looking, and small. For the price it's a great fan. Good for small spaces. March 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Upgrade I've installed two of these as replacements of older fans. Installation was straightforward and an easy one person job. The wires for the fan are long enough to rest it on a table while wiring to a standard 7' ceiling. There is also a bracket that holds the weight of the fan while you secure it. While I haven't run the fans other than to test, they are quiet and move a lot of air, even on low. I've installed one over our kitchen island, and it provides plenty of task light, while also illuminating the room. The bulbs are an unusual size, but from a quick look online, they can be replaced with equivalent LEDs. March 30, 2015
