Does this unit come with the wireless control such as the receiver and sender? Or is it just the switch and you have to buy the other units and if so which units do you buy?

Answer:
If I understand your question, yes it does. One part of this kit is installed in the section where you would hard write the fan/light in the upper section close to the ceiling. The other part is the actual component that replaces your wall switch. There is a switch that you program like on your garage door. Make sure that if you have another switch in the house that the frequency is different.

Answer:
It has the receiver that has to be wired into the fan assembly. It wouldn't fit in the electrical box I had , so I broke out the back of the box to allow the receiver to be put in..Not exactly kosher, but it works fine and the risk of a problem is pretty small..

Can I use this controller to control two fans.

This question is from Ceiling Fan and Light White Wall Control
June 12, 2015
I have two fans on my patio and would like to be able to control both of them from the same switch. Would this work if I got a second receiver?

Also can this be hooked up to a three way switch? The second switch to my patio is in the master bedroom.

Answer:
I doubt it since the light switch only has one programable switch that matches up with the transmitter in the fan. It also only comes with one transmitter for the fan and one wall switch. I guess if you hard wired two fans to the same electrical box where you are wiring the transmitter, the switch could work both fans, but not independently.

We do not sell receivers separately, however, to ensure that the transmitter and receiver in a kit are set to the same frequency. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Receiver too big Receiver is way too big to fit in the electrical hub for my fan. Had to return it. It would help if the description of the product included the dimensions of the receiver. June 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product and very reliable The Westinghouse ceiling fan & light control switch was exactly as advertised and worked like a charm. The only thing that I would have liked, is for the buttons to be of various sizes to help you easily identify their functions in low light conditions, other that that, they worked perfectly!! A.M.E. - Fillmore, CA. January 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by worked nicely! Have 2 of these and they work very well. Easy to install for someone with a little electrical experience. A note for anyone else buying these....get zip ties. The remote unit in the fan is nice and slim but needs to be secured to the fan mounting bracket and I'd recommend zip ties. December 2, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great item with one minor issue This switch was an excellent choice and it works perfectly with one minor flaw. The main on off part of the switch is a switch on the bottom of the unit that slides left to right and it is not very easy to walk in the room and turn on and off like a regular light switch. As long as the switch you are installing it to operates ONLY the fan/light, it's not an issue because you would never use this part of the switch. In my case, the light switch I attached it to also operates other lights in the room so when I want those lights to shut down, I need to use the main on/off slider switch. July 22, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't work I had high hopes for this but after spending the time to install it found that it was defective and didn't work. Returned it to the local Home Depot store for a refund. Would give it no stars if I could. September 15, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product A little bit hard to install the receiver - other than that very easy - no more pulling chains, works with regular bulbs and dimmable LED's May 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Replacement This control replaced a Hunter Fan control that is no longer available. The Westinghouse has all of the features I wanted, which included a master off/on switch. I had an electrician install it and it took him about 15-20 minutes. February 17, 2015
