Answer:
You cannot use a higher wattage incandescent light bulb with this ceiling fan. You can use an LED light bulb, our 3312800, this is a 7 watt LED and has a higher lumen count and is equivalent to a 60 watt incandescent light bulb.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 102 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I purchased this small fan and installed it in the hallway to draw air to the back bed rooms. On a scale from 1 to 10 on the handyman skill level I consider myself maybe a 7 on a good day. I got the fan and began the assembling and mounting of the unit. Right off the bat I was very impressed with the construction and the ease of the assemble. Mounting the unit to the ceiling was fairly simple as electrical work isn't my strong suit. But with the good instructions provided in the owner's manual It was very simple. The fan works like I wanted and I'm very satisfied with it. I would recommend this product to anyone. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by awesome little fan :-) Took my girlfriend and i about an hour to instal this. The instructions are'nt very detailed though. Before you place the fan on the base, would recommend you put the blades on first. It didnt specify that :-/ When unscrewing the screws, be careful not to drop the little washer that it has on it. We did, and it took us a few mins to get it out of the actual fan. Other than that, it was a breeze :-). Looks great too in our breakfast nook July 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Had an electrician put this up with a Westinghouse Remote in a walk-in closet. It moves a lot of air (3 speeds) and the dimmer on the light is convenient. It's been up for a few weeks & the motor noise has gone away (instructions said any noise should go away after 24 hrs). I had some wobble and moved fan blades (per instructions) and it worked. Hope it doesn't wobble when switch is changed for winter. October 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Nice Being very handy around the house, this only took me about an half an hour to remove old fixture (standard ceiling light) and install this fan. Everything was in the box ready to go. Now if you have a standard fixture, and expect to have individual controls for light and fan, you will have to pull an additional wire. I'm too lazy to pull new, so I use the pull chains, works just fine. October 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Looking, Average output I purchased this fan due to the kids bunk bed being to close to the existing larger fan's blades. This fan fit the needs and looks great. It has a nice quality finish, the blades are nice colors and good quality as well. It is quiet at all three speeds. The amount of light produced is not great using the provided bulbs which do require the smaller candelabra base. When the provided bulbs burn out I will replace with a higher wattage. The air flow is enough to move the air in the room and is as to be expected from a smaller fan blade. One issue I have had with the light is using the dimmer switch on the wall. When the dimmer switch is slid up to quickly the light will flicker on and back off and will stay off until the dimmer is slid back down and off, then slowly brought up. I am not sure if this is a defect or not? The previous ceiling fan never had this issue and was up for 8 years. its not a big issue, you just cant turn the light on quickly using a dimmer switch. Overall I am satisfied with the product. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by In the kitchen This little fan is a perfect fit for my kitchen. There was a larger fan in the spot before but it kept interfering with the flame on my gas stove. I also needed it to act independently of the light switch since it is not connected to one. (Do not ask) My son came & installed it without a problem. Except for the fact he was shocked because the electrical panel did not have a label for that random circuit! Lame person who installed the fan box. The only negative features; the 3 speeds are not much different from each other. Balancing it has been a challenge. Other than that we love it & glad we have it in this heat wave we are going through. It really works to keep the heat at bay. And it's really cute! July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect size ceiling fan. Very nice ceiling fan. This fan fits perfectly into my kitchen area. It does not interfere with opening of kitchen cabinets. I am happy I made this purchase. August 9, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very little air movement Even for the relative size, this fan does not circulate any air. July 26, 2016
