I purchased 12 of these lights. They came in ONE box/ carton. One small problem which HOME DEPOT and the manufacturer took care of promptly.....ONE of the lights did not have the 'operative' solar cap/ collector and light on it. So, I received 11 (functional ) lights. One phone call corrected that issue. The LIGHTS themselves are MUCH NICER than the standard (plastic) solar light folks usually buy. They are made well and 'hefty' to the FEEL...kind of like a 'MAGNUM' flashlight . They installed simply, and are ALL working now as I write this review. They cost more than the plastic ones, but you get what you pay for in this case. They have a nice, modern and 'classy' look to them.

The lights arrived quickly and were exactly as described. I was a little confused about how to get them started, since there were no instructions included, but a quick call to Home Depot sorted that out (pull the cap off the top of the light & pull out the orange tab). The rest was a piece of cake. They're sturdy, well made, easy to install, and the simple design has settled beautifully into our landscape.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RJJ21 Does not produce much light
This product installed easily. You pull the plastic spike out of the tube and install it into the dirt. Attach the tube to the spike then the light head to the tube. You have to pop the solar top off the head assembly to pull out a plastic strip that activates the battery. Then you screw the top back on. This product has a single LED bulb and puts out a very low level of light. It will mark your path but do not expect it to light the full area of the path. Overall the product is average and I wish it was much brighter. I have seen other solar based products with much more light output.

I already have a set of corded lights, but I wanted some more lights to illuminate another path not near electricity. You simply place the lights where needed and when it's dark, they light up. They last close to 12 hours, though they get dim towards the end. They do need sunlight to charge the solar cell.

When we received the package with these lights in them I was suprised by how heavy it was. That turned out to be because of the thick glass and the heavy duty construction, nothing flimsy about them. I very much like these lights. They are small enough to be inobtrusive in my landscape, but very attractive when you do notice them. So far the ones placed in full daylight all day burn until dawn and the ones in partial shade last until I go to bed. They have a decent amount of light and they shine down and away, no glare to a standing or sitting person. Assembly to the stakes is simple. I will have to to a couple of tiny screws if I have to replace the batteries in the future, but hopefully they are as high quality as the rest of these lights.

The lights make a beautiful pattern along the walk and drive. This is the second purchase to replace some damaged from several years of weed wacking and knockouts from car doors. Glad to be able to find these still available.

These solar lights are simple in design and function fine. The single LED lamp provides acceptable, but not bright, pathway lighting. Good economy set.

Attractive bronze color, glass encased bulb adds extra weight to the lights for stability and enhances the glow. Also, since they are not plastic the extra weight helps keep them grounded. The lights are bright and the assembly and grounding are traditional. They are an attractive accent to any walkway or garden.
