Rated 4 out of 5 by Works great. Does not come with a power cord. The garbage disposal works well, and was the size I expected. The instructions are a little lacking for a person installing one for the first time. I also was unaware that the power cord does not come standard with the disposal. The cord had to be hard-wired in. November 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Does the job This is the exact model of the disposal that went belly-up on me. Not sure how long it lasted as I moved into the house 2+ years ago, but I figured buying the exact same model would be easiest. Apparently they decided to make some modifications on how it connects to the sink line, and that caused some headaches. Other than that, it went well. October 14, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Quality After few years, you will need to replace it. Ours failed in 5 years! It started to leak from the bottom. September 11, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Low Quality Short Life Cycle Whirlpool garbage disposals are inexpensive for a reason. Their quality is very poor. If you get 5 years our of a Whirlpool garbage disposal you will be very lucky. Mine started leaking from the inside and my neighbor's sounds like an industrial grinder. So much so the house inspector noted it on their report to replace or repair. Our neighborhood builder installed these and I believe several have failed after just a few years, Builders Grade.
