taylor, The hinge is on the right for a left to right swing. The hinge can be reversed on this model if you desire a right to left swing. Thank you for viewing this Whirlpool home appliance.

17.5 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator in Stainless Steel-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 86.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product has worked out well for an apartment refrigerat I like the option of the handles built into the doors as people sometimes renting apartments are not very careful and break the handles off. This seems to be a great product so far.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design This fridge would be a decent one but it has a couple of major design flaws. The glass shelves bow with even a light amount of weight on them, and we have a good amount of food in our fridge. The deli drawer requires so much force to pull it out that it might as well be pad locked. Other than that it's not a bad little fridge, but those are two pretty huge design flaws.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Noisy compressor, don't buy this fridge for a kitchen that is open to living areas. This is an across the board average fridge. It made the energy star list, that's the perhaps it's only above average attribute. Attention Whirlpool and other appliance manufacturers, Customers will pay extra for a quiet fridge that will fit in a small kitchen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We love the design of this product. The quality of this refrigerator is excellent overall, however it can be a bit noisy at times.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unacceptably Loud Great design and efficiency, but far too loud. Too bad. It looks great in our kitchen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far so good I got the refrigerator last week. So far it's working ok. This is one of the very few refrigerators on the market that has a 28" width and has a reasonable price. I got it on sale so that helps. It looks good, keeps things cold. It's a bit hard to move around, perhaps the wheels are stuck, not a biggy. It seems to be running a lot and when it runs it's pretty loud. Other than the noise , it's a decent product. I wish there are more refrigerator of this size on the market.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Thoughtless design, horrible usability Whoever designed this fridge clearly never used one before, it in so poorly designed. The dimensions ensure food gets lost in the back, and the shelves are so low and deep you have to reach far to grab anything. This fridge is a good choice for the traveler who's never home. For anyone else planning to keep more than a gallon of milk cold, pick any other model and you'll be better off.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent fridge for a decent price While it isn't the best fridge I've had, it certainly isn't the worst. A few weird items with this. The tray in the freezer doesn't go all the way to the back, so stuff will fall down in the back. Also, there is nothing to hold the ice cube bucket/tray thing in place. So, if it happens to move forward, the ice will go behind the ice cube bucket/tray and then fall down to the bottom level. Also, some of the trays in the main compartment of the fridge don't work very nicely. It is a bit noisy, but as long as you don't sleep in the kitchen, I think you should be o.k. It was a decent price too.
