Its an 18" but it fits a lot of dishes and cleans large loads well. We went with the 18 inch dishwasher in place of a full because that is what was there when we moved in. I am happy with how well it works and it has a clean look.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by JK The worst experience I have had in a long time...
Purchased the product online, was delivered and installed. Worked less than a week and will now not run at all. Because I did not buy the extended warranty Home Depot tells me they can do nothing for me and I must deal with Whirlpool.
Whirlpool has taken three weeks to tell me that they cannot send a out a service rep because we live in the mountain of Colorado and therefore "there are not authorized service technicians". Their solution they provided is call a local appliance repair company, have them fix it (which I will need to pay for) and then fax the invoice to Whirlpool who will reimburse me "up to $150".
The worst buying and customer service experience i have had in a very long time. I will certainly not use either Home Depot or Whirlpool EVER again!

There is not much I like about this dishwasher at all. The silverware basket does not fit snug and therefore I find my silverware on the bottom. The racks have prongs that are so tight that my dishes do not fit. It is not user friendly for loading at all. The dishes are always wet at the completion of a cycle. This is the fourth dishwasher that has been in this house. I paid the most for this one and get the least in return. I would never recommend this to anyone. The only plus is the stainless interior. Other than that, it is garbage. It took 4 install dates to finally get it in and it is still not a good fit but the best they could do. I must say thought, Home Depot was more than fair with me and worked quite well with me.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by btezra small space, perfect dishwasher solution
I have a smaller kitchen in my apartment and this Whirlpool model has worked out perfectly so far.
Relatively quiet, you can hear the dishwasher running but it's not annoyingly loud. It has the expected options, the time-delay feature is perfect for setting for after you leave or overnight.
Just enough room with or without the silverware holder, the cleaning is perfect everything I've so far.
Yes, the drying agent light for refilling could use a redesign, it's not impossible to see but is annoyingly hard at times.
Overall, it's worth purchasing. Don't waste for money for the same options/performance, don't spend less just to save a buck, buy this model and you'll be happy IMO.

The main circuit board went haywire after less than a year. I expect better quality from Whirlpool!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dave Great small size dishwasher
This dishwasher is a great value at its price, many other models were more expensive for not much more in features. The dishwasher is solidly made and cleans dishes really well! It's not super quiet that's true but you can watch TV or have a conversation with no problem. There is also a delayed start if u want to run it while you're asleep or out of the house, I have not used this yet as the sound does not bother me. I have not had the dishwasher very long but so far it is one of the best purchases I've made in a long, long time.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mike Seems ok when it works.
Dishwasher worked for about two weeks. Then the controls started to short out. Bumping the dishwasher would turn it off and on. So I would have to bang it to get it to turn on so I could start the washer. Other times it would just turn off during a cycle. It took months and 5 service visits to get it fixed. To make matters worse, the repair company A&E, never showed up 3 out of the 5 times during their scheduled 8am to 12pm time window. Two of the times, they didn't bother calling me to let me know they weren't going to make it. Whirlpool refused to replace my unit so A&E eventually just got all new parts and replaced them. It worked but I was skeptical.
Two months after they fixed it, it's broken again. The button for the normal cycle doesn't work. The best part is that Whirlpool keeps sending me letters for an extended warranty.
