Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 459 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A decent microwave We had to replace a built-in microwave so were trying to get one with the exact same dimensions as the Kenmore we were replacing, hoping that we could use the trim kit from the old one. We didn't want to buy a $200 trim kit that were just some pieces of plastic and metal. The outer trim fit fine but the unseen parts inside the cabinet did not line up so basically the microwave is not exactly "bolted in" and perhaps not as snugly seated in the cabinet. We will probably try to improve on this in the future, but overall it is working fine. I don't like the push button opening mechanism much, I would just prefer a handle to open the microwave. And I don't like that it will keep beeping at intervals when the cooking time is over. But, it heats food and otherwise has done fine. It doesn't seem overly noisy. It is a "good" microwave but not "great" February 17, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great as a Built In Ordered the Trim Kit and installed it as a Built In. The instructions were well written and the process went flawlessly. December 19, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Just what we needed We needed a new microwave to replace one that we have that broke. It is located in a cabinet drop down with trim around to make it look like a build in. The size fit, so we picked this one. It basically does everything our other one did. You can adjust the temperature based on what you are cooking. My only complaint is that the push button to open the door is fairly hard to push. You have to line up your hand an push with a fairly good amount of force on the button. So, if you are very weak, I'm not sure I'd recommend it do to this issue. Otherwise, it is just what we needed. Also, installation was a snap. Just plug it into the outlet. January 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Microwave Great microwave with sufficient bells& whistles but not overwhelming. Bought the associated trim package but was disappointed with it (separate review provided). No problems with the microwave as it performs as advertised. November 3, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by POOR DOOR LATCH DESIGN The excellent features are more than offset by the very loud and annoying noise when the door is shut. Whomever designed this must have been deaf. Also, the door switch design leaves a lot to be desired, sometimes requires several attempts to open the door even when the button is pushed all the way into the recess on the panel. And, the edges of the recess for the door switch are rather sharp requiring the user to push the switch in the middle of the button so as not to scrape one's fingers or thumb. A lever switch would have been much more user friendly. January 20, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Appliance Installed this (as a built-in) last night - to replace a similar built-in we had for the last 16 years - and my first impressions are very positive. While it has more settings and features than we'll probably ever use, it is simple to get up and running for time-cooking (enter minutes & seconds and press start - what could be easier?). We did also try the popcorn setting and were pleasantly surprised to find it did a great job (previous microwaves either over- or under-cooked). It is also substantially quieter than the unit it replaced. Capacity - this is pretty cavernous for a 24" wide unit. Price - HD had a great price on this, shipped free to home. Fitment -- if you are installing as a built-in, this is important. The dimensions were exact at the corners, but like any sheet metal appliance there is some slight bowing in the middle. This means fitting this 24" wide into a 24" opening is tight. Now - the built-in/trim kit is another story, my review of that will not be as favorable. But this appliance gets my recommendation. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by microwave It does what a microwave is suppose to do!! Only thing that does not work very good is the button you push to open the door, It doesn't always work the first time you push it. Had to install one of those glue on picture hanger by the button that opens the door because it stopped working most of the time and this helps to open the door, other than that have not had any other problem. The only reason I'm not recommending this product is because of this door issue which i read that other people found annoying also. January 27, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Reliable or 2 defective units in 3 years????? We purchased our 1st unit when we remodeled our kitchen. We bought the built in framing so it would look nice in the cabinet. So when the 1st unit died after 18 months, we decided to purchase the exact same microwave so we wouldn't have the added expense of the built in kit of another unit. Well it's been about a year and the 2nd unit died. I am so disappointed. I wish I had my old 24yr old Sharp back it was still working when we remodeled. Microwaves should last a lot longer than ours have. These microwaves were lightly used. June 17, 2016
