There's finally a French door refrigerator that makes life a little easier. This 24.7 cu. ft. Whirlpool model's MicroEdge shelves not only store more items on each shelf with wall-to-wall storage, they'll even help contain spills. That gives you plenty of room for whatever you bring home from the store and peace of mind if things get a little messy. The In-Door-Ice system creates room for an extra full shelf in the refrigerator by moving the ice bin to the door. You can keep those foods tasting great with the FreshFlow produce preserver. It extends the freshness of produce for up to 4 days by absorbing excess ethylene gas.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent.... Slow water and significantly louder The fridge is decent.... I LOVE the actual fridge portion - there is TONS of space and the shelves are easy to move around and customize. It's also very easy to clean. I love that the door shelves are large enough and sturdy enough to hold a gallon of milk. The freezer is just okay. The top drawer will stay "pushed in" when you open the freezer so if you need to get something from it, you have to pull out the freezer door and then pull out the top freezer shelf. Kind of annoying. The water is ridiculously slow. The manual mentions your water pressure, but my previous fridge with water didn't have this issue. The unit is also SIGNIFICANTLY louder than my last fridge (which was a Maytag). If it's quiet, you can hear it running in the OTHER ROOM. May 21, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Refrigerator Nice appliance. I did a lot of research before making this purchase. April 29, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does alot more than we realized This is a very good French door refridgerator. The door design is nice with no exposed seal to close the doors (like the older models). April 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy with my purchase I've had this fridge for three months now, and my only complaint is the ice dispenser. I have a wide mouth cup I use to put ice in smaller cups, otherwise, it goes everywhere! Really badly designed. Everything else, I love. It's not noisy like people on here were saying. The freeze is a little tight, but perfect for my family of 4. I love the space-saving ice maker and the beer drawer in the middle. July 13, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fridge. This fridge is wonderful. It's spacious and beautiful. Recommend. October 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Design, Lots of Space...Poor Ice Maker, Slow Water Pour, Condensation Buildup and Mildew Overall: Well, I'm having it worked on after owning it for just 3.5 months... GOOD: >Great design with a ton of space, customizable shelving, well built shelving >Huge amount of space saved from the modern design >Great lighting, bright >Excellent air flow, no smell BAD: >Ice maker is very slow, four people cannot get ice in one day, refills too slowly >Water spout for filling up glasses of water has both a very slow fill causing you to stand in front of the fridge for ages >Water spout area is not tall enough. You have to tilt in most water bottles. When you removed the bottle from the lever to let water out, this causes water to splatter everywhere because of the delay from depressing the lever and removing your drinking vessel >The top of the pull out drawer freezer has condensation on it constantly where the top seal meets the fridge portion above. It will eventually begin to mildew if not regularly wiped down >Door open warning chime is much too lenient, essentially not chiming to let you know the door has been left open for about 5 minutes, or, well after you have left the house for work. >The whole appliance is quite noisy and will make screaming like noises I think when it refills the ice maker with water to freeze. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I wouldn't purchase it again I am surprised this fridge got so many positive reviews. It is pretty and has a lot of room and light. I thought the comments on the ice and water dispensing issues were a bit nit picky, as my old fridge had similar minor issues and it wasn't that big of a deal. These are not minor. The post fill drip is varies with timing, so sometimes it happens a bit after dispensing and is forceful enough that it bounces out of the area and runs down the front of the door so you always have a mess on the stainless door. The ice dispensing is really forceful so you need to use big glass and even then the small fragments of ice shoot around the sides making a mess on the door and floor. It takes over 24 hours to fill the relatively small ice bin. Mine was also missing a door bin. The hold time with whirlpool was significant and the agent asked me what the bin looked like so she could order it. When I replied that since I didn't receive it, I have no idea what is looked like, she got snippy. When I asked her why this was still happening since so many reviews mentioned it, she basically said it is included in the warranty so what is the big deal. My reply, when you pay over $2000 for a new fridge you shouldn't have to take the time to call for basic parts. Another significant issue, even after adjusting the feet to the maximum height to facilitate door closure and prevent rapid swinging when opening, they are both an issue. You have to gently open them and bring them to a rest or they will swing back hard and hit the surrounding area. You must also push them very firmly for them to close tightly, or they stop without sealing. This is really an issue if you need to access the center meat keeper or crisper since both doors have to be wide open and you can't hold them and open the drawers. If you have children, this fridge would be a nightmare. The message says when you call Whirlpool, they are experiencing high call volume and so you will hold for a while. There is a reason for this. Wish I had my 17 year old GE back. November 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid this frig Wife and I bought this refrigerator on 4/24 because our old Ge just died after 15 years. We have had it 3 weeks and have already had to have two service calls on it. The first was the door switches were bad, the ones that tell it if the doors are open or not, and the latest service call because the front control panel is bad. Avoid buying this frig unless you have $2,000 and just don't know what to do with it. May 15, 2015
