Everything works as promised. The ice maker makes random noises besides filling and dropping, but they aren't loud, it's just quiet in here. Don't hear them with TV on. I like the feature where you can set the temp by degrees for fridge and freezer separately. Ice cream is perfect and my canned soda is super cold (just the way I like it.) I got the satin, not the stainless steel, and the front is beautiful, the sides are an odd gray color which almost doesn't match, so I recommend you look at the product or a similar one in the store to see if this will bother you.

We've had this refrigerator for over 1 year now. While this fridge keeps things cold, it has several key drawbacks that, had we known about them, we would have selected another fridge. It is fairly noisy, both when the compressor kicks on and whenever the ice maker is working. For a 26 cu. ft. fridge, it has only fair storage room. There are not enough freezer shelves, and to buy an extra shelf costs $75! As mentioned in other reviews, the water dispenser is the weakest and slowest I've ever seen. Finally, and most annoyingly, the danged refrigerator door must be very positively closed. I've never seen a fridge with such weak magnets in the door edge. We continually find that we have failed to fully close the door when we walk by the fridge. Looking to replace this thing as soon as we can scrape together enough money for a decent fridge.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by DickC Nice Refrigerator, Low Output Ice maker
This refrigerator is very nice looking and has plenty of room in both sides. The door dispensers, work well.
I have owned this model for eight months and have had two issues with it.
When first delivered, the freezer door would not close properly. The door cam, at the bottom of the door was replaced under warranty, and has worked well since.
Extra room in the freezer has been achieved by reducing the size of the ice maker, and locating it in the door itself. The ice maker is much smaller than the older models, makes much smaller ice cubes (still the half moon shape, but MUCH smaller), and makes only five small cubes at a time. Starting with the door ice container empty, it took me five days to fill it, without removing any ice during that time. The old Whirlpool ice maker used to fill the much larger door ice container in a much shorter time. We only have a family of two, and I needed to buy a separate, portable ice maker to meet our modest needs.
So, if you don't use much ice, it's a very nice refrigerator.

I researched refrigerators for awhile and compared features/price. I prefer a side by side over one big freezer drawer at the bottom that you have to dig thru to find anything. I really like the stainless look and no fingerprints. I also really like having 2 dispensers, one for ice and one for water. The only design change I would like to see is additional shelf placement options and door shelves that are the same size so you can easily move them around.

We've been happy with our purchase. We expected the issues with the noisy icemaker and dispensing speed of the water - have to watch that. We had heavily researched products and sellers and had purchased previously with Home Depot. The finish does indeed repel fingerprints (handle is smudgy though). Love flexible layout and moveable shelves. The in-door icemaker was a requirement for us and we are especially happy with that feature. The lighting is great and the food very visible. Our only issues were with set up (leaking the first two days and no call backs) and follow up service.
