Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Northlander So far I am happy with this purchase. Converting it to LPG was easy and it came with all the parts needed. Installation was snap. Plugged it in and turned it on, igniters ignited and I was cooking. Clean up is easy just remove the grates and everything is accessible to clean..

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Julia Very difficult to install
It is a very nice cook top with great features but the directions are horrible and the correct fittings were not included. I have installed many appliances in the past but had to call in someone in order to get it working.
The LP conversion kit was mislabeled (I have natural gas) and it turns out that's why I had to hire someone to connect the cook top to my gas line.

I really like the large cook area. Unlike other cooktops that have a single coil or grate, this cooktop is one large grate. This makes it good for larger pots or things that you might only under some of the flame. It is simple and sleek and easy to install and operate.

Ordered this cook top on-line and it was delivered one day early. Easy to install. Did have to make some modifications ( install electrical outlet, cut out hole to allow for installation, cut down/shorten utensil drawer under the gas connection to allow for clearance, notch out another utensil drawer to allow for clearance of electrical power cord). This cook top is replacing original that came with home that was built in 1965, so energy efficiency should be a given. We have cooked on it twice and the operation is both easy and perfect. Our only complaint is that all of the ignitors fire off no matter which burner your are wanting to use, which seems to be a design flaw. Having all of the ignitors fire seems to allow for early malfunction due to over use. Technicians should probably look into having only the ignitor of the burner you want to use fire off instead of all of them. Out only other complaint is that we wish the grates were connected to the back of the cook top via a hinge with easy release. By the fact that they just sit freely on top of the cook top seems to allow for them to "float" and move with contact. We were somewhat concerned by some other postings of other owners who complained about the flame being too far away from the pot/pan being heated, but we have had absolutely no problem with that at all, since the very first use of the cook top was to boil a pan of water for Oatmeal. We are looking forward to several/many years of use. If we get half of the amount of useage as the one that this unit replaced, it will be well worth the money.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by UnhappyCook Worst cooktop design
If you don't cook at all, you'll love this. However, if you do cook even once a year then you'll hate this piece of junk. I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to put both large burners at the BACK of the cooktop but that's a horrible design. The larger burners are the most used. The front left burner is a tiny burner meant really for melting butter. The other small front burner barely heats up as well. The large back burners both heat up great - in fact, they heat up TOO much even on low. You can't cook anything on them easily since they are in the back. You have to either lean way over to stir/look in or pull them off the heat. And if you need to switch what you're cooking to a low simmer then you have to move it to a front burner or it will continue to boil. The grate sits VERY high off the burners. Takes forever to heat up. The builder of our house put this piece of junk in and I curse every time I have to use it. It's being replaced asap.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Poor Design- Do NOT PURCHASE
I purchased this for my parents for their new renovated kitchen and the gas flame set on "high" is over an inch below the bottom of a pot so it is almost impossible to heat up. I have never seen this poor of a design in a gas cooktop. I have a Dacor but my parents were being budget conscious. DO NOT PURCHASE. The top of the gas burner is 2 inches below the level of the grates. My parents now have to pay for another installer to un-install and install a new cooktop. Terrible.

I love how this looks with my new concrete counter tops. It sticks up quite higher than I imagined, which is why I say it looks industrial. It makes a statement and I like it. Burners work great too! The clips that came with it to attach to the counter top did not fit however.
