Do not ever use self cleaning feature, it shorts out and costs a fortune to have service call to replace parts. Within six months of installation - interior completely rusted through. Whirlpool refused to honor warranty. No compensation from Whirlpool. Total loss!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by KD Horrible product and company
Haven't even had this oven for 3 years and it's broken twice. Within the first year of having the oven, we ran the self cleaner and the oven completely shut down and locked. It was still under warranty so they came out and fixed it. Hadn't run the self cleaner again until this past week and it did the same exact thing. Except this time our warranty is expired by 10 months and it will cost us over $350 to fix it. I don't really feel like spending that much to fix an oven that has already done this twice is worth my money. To me, it sounds like a manufacturing defect. Waiting to hear back from Whirlpool, but most likely we will be going with a different brand for our next oven.

Terribly frustrating oven. This oven (specifically the one we have) runs 30F hotter than the temp you set it at. The worst part is that it has some extremely hot spots right where the top heating element is at. This makes for extremely unevenly browned bread and wonky macarons, even on convect mode, even with a baking stone, and even if you rotate whatever youre baking every 2 mins. At the price you pay, you are better off getting a cheap oven, that doesnt have the bells and whistles, but will actually cook your food evenly at the temp you set it at.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BizbrkrDad Crooked Door, VERY Loud, Lower Vent Edges are sharp
WOW ! I am terribly disappointed. The oven IS LOUD (just quieter than a microwave). You will not be able to entertain guests in your kitchen with this oven operating. The fan runs continuously during operation and cool down.
On delivery, the door (or hinge) was mismanufactured ... now, will have to get the unit replaced
DO NOT BUY

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dana Believe the comments about loud, don't buy this oven!
This oven is nice to look at, and performs well. You just have to make sure you do all your convection cooking when no one else is around because it's ridiculously loud. Before purchasing this oven, I minimized the comments concerning a loud fan. Well, I shouldn't have done that, because it sounds like a small plane in my kitchen. We've had someone out to fix it once while still under warranty, repair guy said the fans are installed too tight at the factory, causing deformation of the blade. (He also warned us never to use the self-cleaning mode, would ruin the oven.) We thought it was fixed, but now, after repair warranty is over, it's making the noise again. Fan kit is about $90. I won't throw good money after bad with a new fan kit, so will use this until I get a bonus, then buy a quiet oven. Please, please please be smarter than me, listen to the negative reviews and don't buy this product.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Harry The oven is well designed, great aesthetics.
Bought it online and was promptly delivered. Very easy to install with the whirlpool easyfit even for a layman like me. Looks nice in the kitchen. Have used it only once yet and so far meets the expectations.

This is the loudest oven I've ever owned. The noise level is way beyond annoying, it is a high pitched whistle that cannot be ignored. I'm sorry I bought it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by TMAC Product was great until I ran the self cleaning mode
We just purchased this oven in January 2013 and it worked great. Then two weeks ago I used the self cleaning feature and before the oven could finish cleaning, it shut off. The oven door was locked and I was unable to use it. I called Whirlpool and they scheduled an appointment for a technician to come out 5 days later only to find out that both thermostats had blown because of the self cleaning cycle. Either the oven is self cleaning or its not. The technician did not have the parts so he was nice enough to put a rush on the order and asked that I call back into the office once the parts arrived. I did that but now the company that Whirlpool sent to repair the oven can't send a technician out until September 11th. Two days short of 3 weeks, now that I have the parts in hand! This is utterly ridiculous! If you want a self cleaning oven, I don't recommend this one because your thermostats may blow and you may be a family of five without an oven for a month!
