Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 This stove replaced a stove in a condo I use for rental income. The self clean feature is a real plus.
I had been looking for a self clean stove and when I saw the considerable price savings through Home Depot this summer the value became irresistible. I jumped on it immediately. I could not match the features such as special simmer burner and the full size 5.0 cu ft. oven along with a stainless steel front. The sealed burners, plus the self clean feature will make it easier to maintain in a rental environment. Broiler contained within the oven compartment leaves handy space below for pots and pan storage. The delivery men were courteous and had no problem bringing the stove up a flight of stairs. The price included delivery and carry out of my old stove. I installed the new stove myself as per local codes. It seems to be working fine with no special adjustments or problems.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Katie Excellent product at VERY affordable price
We just moved into a new house and two weeks after moving in the door on the oven broke. Now, a new oven was NOT in our budget, but this Whirlpool 5.0 was affordable. It was installed in our home within a few days of purchasing it. It looks so nice in our kitchen and works like a charm. It heats up quickly and the range "clicks" on easily everytime. I couldn't be happier. I like it 100 times better than the one that was originally in the kitchen. In the photo you can see handprints from the installation guys, but a little stainless steel cleaner wiped that RIGHT off.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RobertHerring DO NOT BUY
This oven has a manufacturing issue that is not covered by the warranty and is more expensive to repair than to replace. It has an auto ignite issue to where if it doesn't ignite after 5 times, it automatically shuts off. It's supposed to be a safety feature, but this has to happen consistently to start the oven and to keep it at a certain temperature during cooking. It has been INCREDIBLY frustrating to constantly battle the temperature settings and ruining my pecan pies on Christmas was the last straw! New oven it is.
DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN. I'm actually a little upset that Home Depot is even still selling it. It's a well known issue among repair men. They have to be cognizant of the situation.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NelaUnion Oven does not light, Whirpool Failed to fix
Range works great however the oven had increasing trouble igniting, having to hit cancel and restart several times to get it to take. This becomes a problem when you are baking or cooking something for longer then 15 minutes where the oven must come on again to maintain temperature. It is very frustrating to be making a roast or baking a cake and come back in an hour and find that the oven is cold and full of gas and your food is ruined. Whilrpool sent someone out to attempt to fix this, he did not have the parts and I had to wait over a month for parts to arrive. The tech came back out and fixed the problem, albeit very temporary b/c the first time I attempted to use the oven after he left the same problem which has continued to get worse. As this was purchased through a builder on new construction the oven was new to me but actually purchased a year ago now and so Whirlpool refuses to fix a problem that they could not resolve the first time, in stead they want to sell me a $250.00 extended warranty program for a $500.00 oven, no thank you.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kerr A good stove
For the price, it's a good stove. I like the timed bake and the oven works well. Although I feel the burners are not as powerful as my last stove, it still works good. For the price you can't beat what your getting, I looked everywhere.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Insley Handsome Stove, A Bit Hard to Clean
This is a great stove for the price. It's stylish, the burners light up quickly and the oven works great. The surface material is a bit hard to clean and I can't seem to get it streak-free no matter what cleaning product I use.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jason 3 problems within 6months!! Buy a better Stove!
I purchased this stove from Home Depot and within 3 weeks of use. The burner wouldn't ignite when it was put to bake. We called warranty and they came after another 3weeks to fix it. So we started using the oven again with no problems until August. We had an error 2 on the display... This means out display circuit went bad. We waited 6weeks to get this fixed!! This lasted so long we had to borrow our friends oven to bake. This issue was fixed and last night our oven stopped igniting the bake option (same as 1st issue), and now we're back to calling warranty again and waiting another 3/4weeks before it's fixed!
Thank you whirlpool for making a oven that can't last long without hiring a personal appliance mechanic! Please save some more of your money and buy a better oven! I wish I would have and I regret it everyday! Please re-consider or else you yourself might have e exact same issues as me.
Sorry for the rant but I'm so stressed with dealing with my oven. :(

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Steve LP Gas RANGE
Nice price (still high) but a very basic stove - it has the light, clock, timer, etc. storage drawer (nothing to brag about) & what I hate about it is that the burners cannot be turned down - Simmer is not a word this stove recognizes - so everything is a quick cook process or burn it up. Not happy about that; and the very reason I got rid of the old one - had this same problem. One simmer burner doesn't cut it; especially when it's still too high a flame for "simmer". The old stove I could adjust - this new one - no way - it's either high or medium or nothing. Stove looks good, but is basically cheaply constructed as everything is today. Bit disappointed to say the least.
