Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Katie Excellent product at VERY affordable price
We just moved into a new house and two weeks after moving in the door on the oven broke. Now, a new oven was NOT in our budget, but this Whirlpool 5.0 was affordable. It was installed in our home within a few days of purchasing it. It looks so nice in our kitchen and works like a charm. It heats up quickly and the range "clicks" on easily everytime. I couldn't be happier. I like it 100 times better than the one that was originally in the kitchen. In the photo you can see handprints from the installation guys, but a little stainless steel cleaner wiped that RIGHT off.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer This stove replaced a stove in a condo I use for rental income. The self clean feature is a real plus.
I had been looking for a self clean stove and when I saw the considerable price savings through Home Depot this summer the value became irresistible. I jumped on it immediately. I could not match the features such as special simmer burner and the full size 5.0 cu ft. oven along with a stainless steel front. The sealed burners, plus the self clean feature will make it easier to maintain in a rental environment. Broiler contained within the oven compartment leaves handy space below for pots and pan storage. The delivery men were courteous and had no problem bringing the stove up a flight of stairs. The price included delivery and carry out of my old stove. I installed the new stove myself as per local codes. It seems to be working fine with no special adjustments or problems.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kerr A good stove
For the price, it's a good stove. I like the timed bake and the oven works well. Although I feel the burners are not as powerful as my last stove, it still works good. For the price you can't beat what your getting, I looked everywhere.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Insley Handsome Stove, A Bit Hard to Clean
This is a great stove for the price. It's stylish, the burners light up quickly and the oven works great. The surface material is a bit hard to clean and I can't seem to get it streak-free no matter what cleaning product I use.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Steve LP Gas RANGE
Nice price (still high) but a very basic stove - it has the light, clock, timer, etc. storage drawer (nothing to brag about) & what I hate about it is that the burners cannot be turned down - Simmer is not a word this stove recognizes - so everything is a quick cook process or burn it up. Not happy about that; and the very reason I got rid of the old one - had this same problem. One simmer burner doesn't cut it; especially when it's still too high a flame for "simmer". The old stove I could adjust - this new one - no way - it's either high or medium or nothing. Stove looks good, but is basically cheaply constructed as everything is today. Bit disappointed to say the least.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nismo350z Great Functional and Luxury Looking Stove
This is my first gas range stove I have bought, well major appliance purchase.
I am very pleased with this range as it has all the features and capacity I needed. It's very easy to use and cooks everything perfectly with ease. Food cooks evenly throughout when placed anywhere on the rack. The burners ignite fast and heat up pans and pots quick. The steel grates are easy to clean, and are heavy while creating a luxury feel.
The black top is a bit tedious to clean but simple with some foaming cleaner. Stainless steel front and backing are easy to clean and do not scratch easy.
Couldn't ask for more, as it looks and performs great.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RobertHerring DO NOT BUY
This oven has a manufacturing issue that is not covered by the warranty and is more expensive to repair than to replace. It has an auto ignite issue to where if it doesn't ignite after 5 times, it automatically shuts off. It's supposed to be a safety feature, but this has to happen consistently to start the oven and to keep it at a certain temperature during cooking. It has been INCREDIBLY frustrating to constantly battle the temperature settings and ruining my pecan pies on Christmas was the last straw! New oven it is.
DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN. I'm actually a little upset that Home Depot is even still selling it. It's a well known issue among repair men. They have to be cognizant of the situation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mema This is a great looking stove!
I was looking to replace my 20 year old whirlpool oven and wanted to update to stainless. I am extremely pleased with the overall appearance, the weight of the grates and the general solidness of the oven door. I have done mostly stovetop cooking but the few times I have baked in the oven, everything has come out fine. You do have to be careful when using the power burner as the flame can creep up the side of a smaller pot. The only complaint is that marks do show easily on the black surface top, but I keep windex and paper towels handy and it cleans up fine. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. I only hope that it serves me as well as the one it replaced.
