We received this range a few days ago and I can't stop cooking! I love it. It looks so sophisticated and sexy. I want to pull up a chair and stare at it. (my last one was a piece of junk)
The functionality is great too. Very easy to cook pasta, a sauce all on the stove and chicken in the oven. Makes cooking fun.
Would highly recommend based on ease of use and brand.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Gascook Backwards burners
The gas range we purchased is adequate considering that we were not able to find exactly what we were looking for. The convection feature of the oven and the big oven window are nice and everything we expected. The three different size burners (out of five total) were accepted because that was better than five different sizes that came on other stoves. We find the placement of burners backwards. It is quite awkward to stir sauces in small pans on the back burners while heating big pots that require less attention on the front burners. Whoever came up with this design is not a cook! But it seems that this is the fashionable arrangement at present. Apparently, only the low end products use a more practical arrangement and those lacked other features we were looking for.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by atingleyaz1 Inferior Stove to Previous Model
This is a replacement to a previous Whirlpool Gold model and I am so disappointed that the technology on this model has actually gone backward. The controls at the back of the stove are no longer sensed by touch, but rather you have to push rather hard to activate the buttons. I bought the same model in a fridge and a microwave and both of these products are a step above the stove - it's not in the same family in my opinion. The 5th burner has yet to be used and the convection portion of the oven is of no extra value in my opinion. I was also disappointed that they removed the handle on the bottom drawer and the drawer is difficult to pull in/out without the handle. The stove also takes 15 mins to preheat to 450. That said, it's beautiful and gets the job done.

I would love to know how old the average individual is that is writing reviews about this product, because if this is their first stove that may explain all the high marks. Having owned a "basic" whirlpool gas range for the past 15 yrs, this is no better, i actually find it to be a much lesser quality product. It literally feels like a tin can, literally. The old one was ridged and the steel felt like steel not some metal that i can easily bend. This new one just feels "cheap" to me. Seems to function ok but we just got it so time will tell. I thought that by buying a $1200 range i would be getting a better product than the $700 models, well i learned my lesson...if you want a real nice stove you need to by a Viking or something on that level.

Got a great deal on this stove at Christmas time. Delivery took much longer than expected but very happy with the product's features and looks. Looking forward to many family dinners.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Livingandlearning Beautiful but unreliable
Absolutely beautiful -- but useless. Bakes beautifully -- when it works. Oven burners are a bit tricky to get used to but eventually they work fine. The cast iron grate is very heavy when its time to clean the spill area. Small dots of splatter are very difficult to clean. I understand why it gets such high ratings. Let's keep an eye on this range and see how many cooks out there start reporting issues with this model. I purchased this product on November 11, 2013. After waiting a long while for its delivery, the model worked one week then the igniter would spark but not produce a flame for the oven. The top burner worked. If this model worked for me for the one week that I needed it the most, I would have raved about it too. I needed this new oven to work and it failed. I searched the internet for other users who had this problem. Perhaps the repair people fix the oven so fast that other failures don't show up online -- I read of one case where the person gave this product an excellent review because the repair people came out right away. Well, I did not get that kind of repair service. I will have to wait another week for a technician to come out and look at the oven. Let me explain -- I already had an oven like that from 10 years ago when I bought a new house. Every 2 years or so the oven burner would fail to work and I would have to pay $150 for someone to come out and replace the burner. I bought a NEW oven hoping to avoid the oven failure. If an oven cannot bake for Thanksgiving, then it is a pizza warmer oven. The items I baked in the oven came out beautiful but this oven is unreliable and you will find out if you ever decide to really use it a lot like if you have a family event. Its just a matter of time. I recommend buying a back up igniter kit and learn in advance how to repair that igniter. American companies should refuse to buy that part and Foreign based companies should be banned from selling these products where there is a known flaw in the product. I am not telling you not to but it. I am telling you to understand that this product is unreliable and all these rave reviews you see are more about its beauty for the price than its ability to reliably work. While it worked, I loved using this range oven. Thousands of people are buying this range based on looks and features. I am asking that when this oven fails those of you who seriously bake, please post it here and on the web so that the rest of us consumers can be ware. Should you buy this product? That's entirely up to you. If you already bought it, get the extended warranty. You will likely need it. A few others may be just fine. They can afford the risk. If you are just a pizza heater or frozen food heater, this oven should do just fine -- until you do a week's worth of baking and it burns out on you when you need it the most. Its beautiful though -- absolutely beautiful. Looks like it cost thousands of dollars. It is beautiful.
