The installation wasn't too easy, because you need to push the dryer into place and connect one end at the same time. That is not a fault of the product, but just know that going in. Also, if your exhaust vent to the outside if very close to the corner of a wall, the corner of the vent will hit the wall when you use the vent at an angle.
Make sure to use the crimp side for the connection to the outside vent, and the smooth side for the exhaust vent from the dryer. It will not work otherwise, and will leak exhaust.
It saved me a bunch of space, a traditional aluminum flex tube was around 6.5" and this was about 4.5". I needed the vent to be under 5.5", so I was very pleased with how the installation ended up.
A tin snip is required to trim the vent to size.

I bought this because I made a built in pedastil for my washer and dryer. They were raised 20" and closer to the wall so the conventional corrugated tube wouldn't work this was adjustable to the height and ANGLE I needed, I couLdnt have made the project work without it.

This product allowed us to get the back of the dryer as close as 3 inches from the wall. It was easy to install and only took about 30 minutes to install it. This made it possible for us to have the front load dryer in the space provided in our laundry room and gave enough clearance for the laundry room door to close.

Works for very close connection. Only problem was the female connection end was the same size as the dryer vent through the wall. tried it the other way and same problem female connection not small or tapered enough to fit inside dryer outlet. Had to use small piece of the flex able ducting to make the connection. the outlet end (female) needs to be small than 4 inches to fit into 4 inch connection or tapered enough to fit inside the receiving 4" duct.

If you have a minimal amount of space to vent a dryer, this gizmo is the answer. It is easy to install, tight quarters notwithstanding. And, it works perfectly.
