We've had this dryer for two and a half years and had it stacked in the matching wash machine. It has worked very well for us. Having a large family and a small business that requires us to wash more towels as well, it keeps up and delivers well dried and fresh laundry. The large size accomodates blankets and queen sized comforters no problem, which is a help to us because we have allergies and need to wash bedding often. The only problem we had was a screw from the door slipped off and it was difficult to keep in after that. The selection of cycles was more than sufficient to do all types of loads.

I did my due diligence and after reading reviews was sold on the Duetts.
I bought the washer and dryer set over the foreign competitors.
This washer and dryer do work hard. Laundry comes out smelling fresh and clean.
I wanted all the bells and whistles and use them. I Love the steam function for deep cleaning and sanitizing pillows and blankets.
It feels Whirlpool doesn't encourage the purchase of the rack for the dryer, although it is such an incredible feature.
As pleased as I am with my new washer and dryer set, Whirlpool lost some points with me when they did not include the drying rack with the dryer. I missed it when I thought the delivery men might have forgotten it. When I finally discovered it was not included, It was a bit of a chore to even find out how to order it and had to wait about a week for it to arrive.
Although the drying rack was not terribly expensive in comparison to the machine, it felt kind of cheap of them to charge extra for it and even make me go out of my way to order it from their website. After paying a premium price for this machine, I thought I was buying a "Rolls Royce" with all the extras to get the job done.
How would you feel if you bought an expensive pair of sneakers and they made you pay extra for the laces? Not good!

I'm not originally from the US so finding & buying white goods for our new home has been very complex & a very long process. As I went shopping & looking for a washer / dryer combo I was struck by how much research I had to do before I actually bought. I wrote down model # of at least half a dozen brands, then I eliminated due to some features & then put the rest up side by side & did a comparison test. I read ALL reviews, read & re read all features breaking down what I really wanted & cost of repairs (if ever needed) to the obvious energy savings, WHIRLPOOL won. In the end it was out of 3 & every I kept coming back to the WHIRLPOOL & I haven't had a single regret.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Henry from Streetsville What a great machine!
I had to replace a 12 year old washer that was broken, and my dryer was getting on in years (20) so I decided to replace them both. At first I was hesitant, but now I'm glad I did! The capacity is much larger, yet the dry time is quicker! The steam option is amazing too, as is the no wrinkle option for delicates. There's a lot of buttons but don't worry it's easy to use. I was very impressed with the quality of the build, and the smooth, and quiet operations. Glad I did replace them both at the same time. Great product it's amazing what a dryer can do!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jayme Love this Front Loader
Had a major brand front loader before and it was a big disappointment. It was always off-balanced on the spin cycle. Oftentimes it would go through the whole cycle and the towels would come out wet. No drain and spin on that one. Had to go through a rinse and spin cycle. Waste of time. The Whirlpool is performing admirably. Can even mix the load with heavies and lights and no problem getting imbalanced. This even has a drain and spin only cycle. Haven't had to use it yet but it's there if and when I need it. Great job, Whirlpool. I will stick with you

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Michael1538 Our 2nd Dryer and this one is better
This dryer was a replacement under an extended warranty. The original one (1-1/2 years old) was very similar in features but kept having problems with the main circuit board. Now the circuit board is no longer available so the selling store arranged for us to get a replacement. I have to say this one is a lot better and does a better job of drying clothes. We have it matched up with a Whirlpool washer and have the pair stacked. No problems with the washer and the dryer now make a great set.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brooke I like this machine.
My favorite feature is the capacity. My least favorite features are the following: 1. It is too easy to change settings just by brushing up against or leaning over the machine. 2. The sound so are a bit excessive. Not necessary, verging on annoying. 3. I am not interested in and will not use the steam setting. However, I understand that when it is used, water can leak onto the floor due to condensation. This would be totally unacceptable, since my laundry room has a hardwood floor. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.
