Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 33 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It was good for a year............. I'm not one for extended warranties because I expect products to last more than 14 months. This one didn't. I had to have it repaired because the soleniod malfuncitoned on the rinse aid valve. Overall we've liked the dishwasher, but the quality is not good. April 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great dishwasher, but more info needed before installation. Just bought this dishwasher, and so far I have loved it! It took a week to get it installed, though, because of a very common plumbing issue that could have been addresses. September 12, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Water not pumping out (repeatedly). Within 9 days of installation, water was not draining or pumping out. Whilpool sent out a repairman. Within 60 days, water was not pumping out; however, after repeated washes and cancelled and drains, we got it to work. Within, 75 days, same problem. This time, even whilpool couldn't get the repair man to come out for 2 weeks. We called Home Depot and they agreed to an exchange; however, we ended up with the same product...................I suppose we should make friends w/ the repair man. July 3, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Motor died after 2 years worst product Don't buy anything whirpool they only last for one to two years. We have had this dishwasher only 2 years and the motor already went in a 2 person household spend your money elsewhere and never buy whirlpool February 13, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Interior too small and inflexible. Hard to load How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways: I had to buy this model because the regular height models (34 1/2") were too tall for my space. I had done lots of research before I chose what I thought would be the best dishwasher for us, at the best price. Unfortunately, when it was delivered, it was too tall. So, back to work, with a very small pool of options. This model is much smaller inside than my previous one. The interior is poorly designed. The tines for loading dishes are so straight that bowls or plates with a rim are hard to load. Actually, bowls are almost impossible to load. The upper rack is also hard to load, and one lovely cup is already broken, because it fell over after it was loaded. The racks do not pull out easily or smoothly, especially the lower one, so dishes already loaded knock around when I add more plates. I am washing more things by hand rather than fight with the rigid setup. It seems to wash well, though I am intimidated by all the instructions about maintenance for performance. So, all told, I am disappointed (and my husband, who is the main dishwasher is even more so). Our previous dishwasher was 15 years old. Meaning we will hate this one for a long time. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by small but works great! Smaller than I thought. Works great and looks beautiful in my kitchen! January 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Terrific Defaulted to this dishwasher due to space issues. Couldn't be happier...washes flawlessly on the normal setting, realitively quiet and super built. Concerned after reading some negative reviews, but have only been pleased. Very similar to the older well built Kitchen aid by Hobart machines. May 16, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Acceptable, not the best rack design. This was the only dishwasher model I could find where the total depth (with door open) would fit in my kitchen. We had initially purchased another Whirlpool model where the total depth was about 1.5 -2 inches too long. That being said, I'm not that pleased with the rack design, or the overall interior size. There is definitely less dish storage capacity compared to the 1996 model Whirlpool dishwasher we replaced. Plus the silverware holder is on the lower rack instead of the dishwasher door. We prefer it to be inside the dishwasher door. The silverware holder is cheaply made. The handle broke (not thru abuse) on the 2nd use of our new dishwasher. It seems to be a sub-standard material (plastic) that's apt to break easily. Whirlpool said they would be sending us a replacement, which we hope to receive any day now. One other thing is the dishes don't seem to get totally dry. This is another bad comparison to our previous Whirlpool dishwasher. On the good side, the dishwasher runs very quiet. April 28, 2015
