How big is the oven with the door open? That would be installed depth plus the door depth when open, if that makes sense.

Answer:
Once installed - with the door fully open it extends 22" from the frame. The cabinet where I placed my oven has an inside dept of 24 (which is what is required per the install instructions). Height requirements are between 50-1/2 " to 52-3/16" (spacers provided for attaching to bottom of oven if cabinet high exceeds 50-1/2" (which mine did)).

Answer:
Anonymous,
These Built In appliances have open wires. They can be either hard wired in or you can put a plug on the unit. Typically you would hard wire the appliance, but it really depends on your local codes and regulations. If you are unsure, I would suggest having a licensed electrician give you his/her professional guidance. Thank you for viewing this Whirlpool home appliance.

Answer:
chris,
This double wall oven should preheat in several minutes. It should not take 2 hours to heat up. I would contact The Home Depot/ Whirlpool Corporation hotline at 877.461.3376, Option 2, Option 1. A customer care specialist will be able to assist further. Thank you.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.6 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy Fan - whistle/howling noise unbearable We've had this oven for 2 months and had two service calls to fix the jet-engine like noise coming from the lower exhaust fan. The third party technicians onsite agree that they too wouldn't tolerate the noise, but the Whirlpool help desk they call claims it's 'within spec'. I'm extremely frustrated as the noise is so loud conversations grow louder or the TV is turned up. We had a dinner party last week and the oven became the joke of the night. I cannot imagine that anyone owning this oven could/would tolerate this level of noise in their home. I've owned double ovens in prior homes and they had air blowing noise, but not the whistle/howling. Apparently the guard around the lower fan is causing the noise as the fan sucks in air through a crack or seam. Remove the guard and the noise stops. But, the tech can't/won't leave the guard off for safety reasons. August 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Like the seven year itch. This appliance was part of our new house. The builder lovingly put in all new whirlpool stainless steel appliances in our kitchen. Now right from the get go this double oven gave me a few issues. Set it at 350 and it only got the 340 (using two different thermometers). But really no big deal I just jack the temp up to 360 and all's well. Then every once in a while it would show PF on the screen. Funny I don't remember there being any issues with the power in our house (no brown outs or restarts) but again no big deal. Just reset the clock and be done. Then about 4 months ago the lower baking element died. Ok...so I got a new one. Then like the seven year itch in a relationship it died! Like dead, gone, no PF, no reboot, nada. Call appliance repair guy to just run diagnostics (as im already 95% sure it's the control board). Before I could even give him the make and model oven he asks me...".is this a whirlpool double oven??" Why yes it is (did I say that when telling him my name??!!). I asked him how he knew and he told me....that this 350$ control board is notorious for burning out and he no longer works on those appliances because of that issue. Well that sealed the deal for me to buy a GE. Thanks for the breakup whirlpool.... July 15, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by THE NOISEY TRAIN I replaced a whirlpool gold convection oven with what I thought was the same product. There is a fan that starts the minute you turn the oven on and continues a long time after you turn it off. You don't hear the convection fan due to the train like noise from the "fan" that's used to keep the digital components cool. There is also a vent system that blows the hot oven air into your house. I don't see how this can be energy efficient. This is the worst purchase ever, March 26, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst oven ever! This oven combo was an upgrade in my new house and I have to say it is the worse oven I have ever cooked in...ever! I cook a lot and a lot of different things. Almost all of my families meals are prepared at home and I will replace this peace of junk as soon as I can. It takes forever to heat up, burns the center of everything and when I say everything....well, everything! example, making rolls right now as I am typing. The center of my pan is burnt and the outside rolls are dough. Convection feature is horrible! They market this as a true convection oven but as far as I can tell it is not, it is a fan only. A true convection has a heating element in the fan area so that it circulates hot air this just blows air and everything closest to the fan is under cooked, leaving it useless at say, Thanksgiving. HATE, HATE, HATE this oven! December 11, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful wall oven but ... Beautiful wall oven but loud and the fan conitnues to run for 30 minutes after turning if off after cooking. Cooks food evenly and holds temperature well. We like having convection on the top oven. Doors are wide and the the windows allows you to easily monitor food cooking. Also interior light is bright. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Addition Installed this oven (I'm a 55 yr old female with the help of my nephew) and saved loads of money (never realized how easy it would be to do the installation myself). Replaced a 12-yr old GE Profile double-wall oven. After months of research (e.g., reading consumer reviews from various websites, considering info from Consumer Reports and reviewing sites regarding repairs of Whirlpool products) I picked this baby and I am very happy. While I'm not a big time baker, this over is perfect. Interior size is great - can't wait until Thanksgiving to give it a real work out. My only compliant is what I see as a two very simple design flaws - 1. At the control panel, I can't understand why Whirlpool would not have added a light to indicate which oven was on (they have an icon pointing to the top and bottom ovens that could easy be the placement for the indicator light); 2) The oven light feature comes on for both ovens when pushed - not sure why there is no choice to turn it on for only one oven (like my old GE oven had). July 25, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy, Noisy, Noisy Fifteen minutes after you turn this oven off the fan is still running and makes an unpleasant howling noise that really gets annoying as you try to eat. There's no way to turn this feature off. Too bad because the oven is stylish, large and full-featured but the noise makes it impossible to recommend. October 27, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buzzsaw noise from WOD93EC0AS oven Oven makes a loud buzzsaw / truck vibration noise. Based on the reviews, most of the oven units are good, but some of the units are lemons. October 13, 2013
