Customer Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 52 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by not as effiecnt as my old range The burners do not heat up quickly, when on high they click off and on and it takes a long time to boil water. I do like the oven However, it took cooking 2 roasts and a pizza before it quit smelling like melting plastic. I kept checking to see if there were packing material left in the oven. I have had 2 other black, glass top ranges and this by far is the hardest to keep clean. Also the back of the range sticks way out and the top had to be cut oddly to fit correctly and the front sides of the range aren't concealed well, no fault of the installers. July 26, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beware of touch pad failure Worked good for 2 years then touch pad started losing functions. It costs $400 to replace! Now timer, self clean and roast do not respond. I researched the issue and it seems it is a chronic problem with the touch pad but whirlpool won't admit it. Check for yourself, Google "Whirlpool slide-in touch pad does not work" and see. Buy extended warranty if you 'll take your chances with it October 9, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by OK Appliance but.......... Only had it a couple of months when the control panel went out and couldn't use the oven at all. Got it fixe under warranty and has been OK now for a few weeks since the replaced control panel. I am "gunshy" now of the controls for these appliances. February 4, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Convection Oven I bought this after having successfully purchased other Whirlpool appliances. It does look well in my kitchen but it has not quite lived up to my expectations. I find the smooth surface very difficult to keep clean as well as being unable to remove the knobs to clean beneath them. Also when the burners are set on the lowest heat they seem to be hotter than what I have been used to with all past ranges. I like the folding oven shelves. I don't like the look of the drawer beneath the oven: it doesn't look like it is installed fully and seems to have too large a gap below the oven. We have tried removing and reinstalling it several times but it is as good as it gets. November 22, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Poor display, top scars, otherwise good oven The primary problem I have with this oven is that you have to be standing next to it to see the display (oven temp, etc.). The display is angled upward. It would be much better if it were angled more downward so you could see it from other places in the kitchen. The second issue I have with it is that the glass on top scars very easily. We are not rough on appliances. The glass cook top scarred almost immediately from the pans placed on it. By this I mean there are now rings on the burners where pits have been placed for cooking. Our old cook top lasted almost 20 years and didn't scar like this. December 29, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product I've been so happy with this range, the oven cooks food evenly. I feel like a professional chef. May 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A good decision I'm pleased with it overall. Easy to use, nice looking. Burners heat quickly and are hotter than my old unit. The oven is plenty large, though I haven't quite figured out the sizable rack. I'm still figuring out the convection vs std, but it's easy to switch between the two. A couple of minor complaints: Because of the angle, you can't see the display from across the room; You must be at the unit. The timer is loud, but it's not particularly long, and it doesn't repeat. Something to keep in mind if you're doing chores out of the kitchen. July 31, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Satisfied so far So far I am happy with this oven. I haven't had it long, but it for some reason is starting to bake a little hotter than it was. I hate when I have to get repairmen out here! Cooktop is very hard to clean too. I'll have to find the magic potion to fix that recurring problem. September 12, 2014
