We use several cast iron pans of various sizes and the concern is that they may ruin the glass top.

Answer:
I have not had any pans scratch the top however, it seems like the top is difficult to clean. It is impossible to clean with soap and water even when steaming the rag on a hot top. The cleaner works ok, but after months of use seems to not work. I am not satisfied with my Whirlpool range I purchased 6 months ago.

Answer:
VVJJ,
I apologize, but I am not familiar with the model number that you have listed. I would suggest calling The Home Depot/ Whirlpool Corporation Hotline at 877.461.3376, Option 2, Option 1 to inquire further. They can look up the model and provide a copy of the guide.

Two questions: My husband is retired military with a valid ID card. Will he receive the 10% discount like your competitor provides? Warming drawer.

I saw one of these models at appliance store. It had a flimsy lower drawer. Same model number as this one. Your range states it has a warming oven with multiple temperature settings. Where is it located? Is it in place of your competitor's flimsy lower drawer?

Rated 1.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Hate this range - extremely disappointed Home Depot is great, and our salesman was very helpful. We bought 3 appliances, all Whirlpool Gold Series. LOVE the refrigerator (but buy extended warranty - our compressor went out 2 months outside of warranty); happy with the diahwasher... HATE the electric range. I like the smooth top stove part - but that is it. The oven takes 1.5 - 2 times longer to cook anything! Had a service tech come out to see if temp was off. Nope - it measured spot-on. The tech said these ovens need 30 minutes to preheat. Tried that - didn't help. We have had this range for over a year now and I hate it more every day. The aqua lift technology for self cleaning is worthless. It has to be scrubbed by hand because the steam clean does nothing. I have cooked for 30+ years - so I am not a newbie. Whether it is cookies or a turkey this oven is consistent with its level of disappointment. Wish we had bought the cheaper model. Our son and his wife bought the lower priced range and have had no problems. April 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by GAR. BAGE. Purchased a home with brand new appliances. I can't ever bake anything because it takes more than double the time suggested. And I know it's not my cooking, because these are recipes that I have made time and time again. The self-clean doesn't clean. The stove top is ridiculously hard to keep clean. Garbage, garbage, garbage. What a waste of $1,000. January 24, 2015
