I believe it is a exact replacement for the model 600. A complete list of suitable replacement models are listed on the box of each media panel. If it is not a suitable replacement, Home Depot has other panels which cover most common models in use today.

To install the new media panel:

2. Next you will need to remove the front off the humidifier. Usually unlatches from the middle, bottom of the front cover and lifts off the top.
3.The panel is housed in a black plastic surround which pulls straight out of humidifier. It may be necessary to move supply tubing out of way at top of unit. Be careful to not move tubing any more than necessary since tubing can get brittle over time and may crack and leak.
4. Panel can be removed from black surround by unsnapping top distributor from top of surround.
5. Surround and humidifier housing should be cleaned as best as possible. The black surround can just be washed in warm water with a mild soap. The top distributor has what looks like fine sand glued to it. This is normal and should not be removed. I clean both the front and duct mounted humidifier housings as best i can with a disinfecting spray or wipes since many time you may find mold or mildew in these areas because of the dark, moist environment. Not all areas are accessible. Be careful not to bend the blades of the fan and not to disturb the fill tubing any more than necessary.
6. When thru cleaning unit, simply reverse to reassemble unit. Some new panels may have a area that looks like a paint spot on one end of them. If the new panel has this, it should be in the upwards position when placed in black housing prior to remounting top distributor onto surround. Make sure the supply tubing is firmly mounted into holder at top of panel.
7. Plug unit back in, turn furnace on and test by raising house thermostat above room temperature, and turning humidistat as high as possible. Make sure unit turns on and there is no leaks. If you find a leak, reassure distributor is snapped back onto black housing, panel is firmly pushed into back rear housing and fill tube is properly mounted. If you still experience a leak, Inspect the fill tube from valve to top distributor for possible cracks. As mentioned earlier, they can get brittle over time and may crack when disturbed. If this is the case the tubing will need to be replaced. Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent product This product has performed excellently over the years, this is why I continue to purchase this item June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect fit for AprilAir And little water waste if turn down your water flow. I saw that if my water valve was open all the way i wasted more water May 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by More effective than the metal mesh filter We live in Colorado and have a forced air gas furnace. The furnace is a two stage variable speed. The fan is left on most of the time for better air circulation and filtration. The clay coated metal humidifier filters seem worthless to me. There is a great deal of wasted water because the clay coating does not adequately absorb water. Most of the water runs off and into the drain. This paper filter absorbs water, stays wet and therefore there is better evaporation. The humidity level in our home is now at a satisfactory level with very little water being wasted. Home Depot is the only store in our North Colorado area that carries this paper filter. I will probably change the filter three times during the season where heat is needed. March 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The Anti-microbial coating does not seem to work. The Anti-microbial coating does not seem to work. After just 2 months of cold weather it developed a pink mold--the kind you sometimes see in a bathroom on grout. I added a picture. I purchased this product (Honeywell HC26P Whole House Humidifier Pad) at Home Depot. December 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Humidifier Pad Value This is a commodity product, so convenience and value trump all else. It's the manufacturer's line, so nothing could be better. March 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Solved the problem It was very dry in our home. The furnace humidifier just wasn't performing like it should. I replaced the humidifier pad and that took care of the problem. It works like new. February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by If it's the correct pad it will work It's a replacement filter for the humidifier. Mine was crusted over, I matched the replacement to my model and presto. My house is now humidified. It's not rocket surgery. February 10, 2016
