Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Spirited Nice looking but the shelves are not good for all bottle types
This unit was purchased for use in a wine store to keep sample bottles at the correct temperature. For the most part the unit keeps the temperature within a few degrees of the desired temp even with fairly frequent opening of the doors, a positive aspect that is worth noting. The main issue I have with the unit is it is not deep enough to handle the taller Riesling style bottles and the space between shelves is not quite high enough to handle the wider pinot noir and traditional chardonnay bottles meaning I am not able to store the full number of bottles in the unit hence the 3 star rating. It is a good looking appliance and for the average home and average wine collection it will serve you well but remember that for non-standard bottles the unit is less than ideal.

I brought one of these and after 3 weeks the temp on both sides would not get below 61*. I don't recommend this product. I am not happy with it. It is a big waste of my money.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bearPawCO Great product if just using stand-alone
I bought this fridge as part of a kitchen remodel and had it several months before the remodel complete. Fridge worked great as a stand-alone. As soon as the custom cabinets were complete, the fridge quit cooling. If I pull it out of the cabinet, it begins working again. The fans are in the back and do not appear strong enough to pull in cool air from the sides or bottom of fridge to cool in the cabinet. I would not recommend this fridge for anyone wanting to install it in a cabinet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by gggggg1 This product works very well
We wanted a wine cooler we could keep in our dining room that wasn't too large and would look nice. This product definitely does that. It cools the reds and whites to a perfect temperature and we are loving it. I researched a lot of coolers and this is a good brand and product. What I don't like is if you have a larger wine bottle, it won't fit. Also the shelves seem cheap for a $500 product. However, we got over it because overall it does the job well. We try to adjust and maneuver to get the bigger bottles in and we just deal with the cheaper shelves. Overall, if you are looking for a cooler that works well and holds 32 bottles, I recommend this for sure.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lish12381 It broke just after the warranty expired!
The wine cooler looks great. The dual zone temperature control is a nice feature. However, I noticed that after about a year of use, I could hear the fans/condenser running all the time. Then the side we have set cooler for white wine would not reach the set temperature. When I contacted the manufacturer they told me that I would have to ship the unit back to California for service. I live in New Hampshire. It is unacceptable that an expensive wine cooler would die after a year and a half and my only option for repair is to ship it across the entire country.

First, this is a great wine cooler, if it works.
The problem is that one side of it stopped working and I have been trying to get the manufacturer to stand behind it and all I've gotten is the run around. They don't respond and when they do they ask me the same questions that I just answered. This must be a side line for this manufacturer and they probably don't care if anyone is happy, thus all the 1 ratings on this site. I would not waste my time or money again on this product. I'm hoping Home Depot can help me but not holding my breath.

The look of the cooler is beautiful but this unit absolutely does not keep the temperature. Once we put it in the built in the temp on both sides went up to 58 and we haven't been able to bring it down since. We are going to install another cooling fan to the back and see what happens. It also arrived crushed in the back with both sides dented and pushed in. Home Depot gave us a credit back and we were able to pull out the metal. Since it is in a built in, you don't see it so we weren't too concerned.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JetJocksAerialPhoto This fridge is really COOL! *cough cough*
I was shopping for a dual zone, DC, solid state wine cooler prior to purchasing this the Whynter 32. I've had the "pleasure" of working on solid state coolers in the past. I know the problems and troubles they have with keeping their temperature. I was on a tight budget, and wanted to buy my wife a Christmas present that would do the job, and hopefully NOT break.
The Whynter 32 is working perfectly, to my surprise. We haven't had one issue. I did notice that after we experienced an interruption of power during a storm, the cooler reset temperatures to default, but that was discovered quickly. The temperature is held consistently where we want it.
I read a few reviews on this that the shelves were not removable. NOT TRUE, they are easily removable; they slide right out! So that makes it perfect for the larger bottles to find a home.
The best feature of this unit, other than it working as advertised, is the look! People always comment on how nice it is. For the price we paid for it, we REALLY got a bargain, and I would recommend this fridge to anyone, including friends and family. Good luck shopping- and good luck beating Home Depot's price on this one! ;)
*PS- no idea why the photos are sideways. Upload tool is Jacked. :)
