Answer:
The lid is a good 10". So, it might not work in a cabinet. You can add a slider. That would work.

Answer:
Allow for 16 to 18 inches cabinet width and 20 to 22 inches cabinet depth. With lid raised allow 28 inches. Right rear and right read side are air intakes. Left side has drain that sticks out 1 inch. Makes plenty of ice. Too bad they did not pipe drain out rear. I bought this model because I can connect straight to water source.. Want another for my camper.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by My confidence has melted too!! I feel bad for leaving such a vague and poor rating for what I had hoped would be a good product. This product was NOT purchased for commercial use in any way. I hate to say it, but the ice maker in my fridge works better. The compact nature is great and the fact that you can have a dedicated water line is remarkable. My problem is that the machine seems to reset itself or turn off automatically. There needs to be a constant monitoring of the machine or the ice melts or stops making it all together. Even though the price is under $300, I would still hope for better performance. March 29, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly Satisfied I rated quality as average because the covering for the buttons to operate the machine does not stay on very well. Now the machine is not responding to the selection when punching the buttons. The product is a simple setup and easy to use. I would only recommend it if the button plate was made to stay on bettter. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! Works great! My only complaint is you have to watch it close, keep the ice bin emptied and add water OFTEN! Love the different sizes of cubes. The small ones fit perfectly into a water or soda bottle. March 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job I have had this unit for a few months now. It works well and quickly. The only issue is that the machine needs constant filling. There is a good sized water reserve, but as soon as the unit reaches below this predetermined point, it stops making ice. It's minor, just an inconvenience considering the remaining water left to be used is still better than a 2/3 of the reserve in the holding area. So, a few times a day, I have to add about 2 cups of water to keep ice being produced. The unit can be hooked up to a water line, so that would eliminate that issue. I am on a well, so I prefer bottled water. It is a large unit. Larger than I thought when I purchased it. If I put it all the way back on my counter and under the cabinets, I cannot open the lid. I placed it on a dish towel, so I can easily slide it back and forth. The towel seems to work well with the sliding back and forth. All in all, it is a good unit. Produces a good amount of ice in a short period of time. If you have a water line, it will do wonderfully for you. If not and you have to add water, it is a minor inconvenience. November 3, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE IT Bought a GE frig in February. Ice maker in it a joke. With this, I bag extra ICE. Small enough to take with us to the campground where we have ac hookup. June 27, 2015
