Customer Reviews

8 in. Flush Fastener Combination Slip Joint Pliers is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top-Notch Slip-Joint Pliers I've been carrying pliers around for decades and use them constantly, replacing them when the teeth in the jaws wear down so they no longer grip. These are the best I've had. The cushion on the handles stays put, the jaws don't wobble, the slip-action works smoothly and when you want it to. Two areas on the jaws allow you to grab different-sized fasteners, the teeth are strong and sharp, the wire-cutter works very well (and the pivot adjustment will let you keep it working well) and the flush-joint is no gimmick. Not only does it allow you to lay the tool flat to get a better grip on a fastener (in my first case some carriage bolts that were spinning), it also falls better into a pocket or holster, and also allows some adjustment. A little expensive, but not out of line for a first-rate tool. I suspect I won't be wearing this one out soon. I recommend the 8" rather than the 6". The larger ones do everything the small ones do, and they have more heft in case you need to bang on something
