Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Josh I purchased 3 wall furnaces from Williams and 2 out of the 3 have ignition/pilot light issues. The other one had a slight dent on it because they do not package them well. The thermostat they include is very cheaply made so I recommend upgrading that to something different. The one that actually works throws out a nice quick heat even without the fan option. If it weren't for the issues with the ignition and pilot I would definitely have given a better review. I see a lot of other people having similar issues on these reviews so I'd look for another product even if it costs a bit more.

The product arrived with very little damage and it operates as expected. The biggest issue with this product was that the brackets on the back, meant for mounting to the wall and also meant to be used to hold the outer housing in place, were welded onto the heater backward. This caused the outer housing to not sit on the heater in the appropriate way, which I dealt with by sliding the edge of the housing behind the brackets (it actually sits on the screws that are going through the brackets to hold them to the wall - I could see no other way to do it). An amateur and unfortunate oversight by the assemblers.

First the bad news : The Williams Heater arrived in a slightly damaged condition. Since the heater was shipped direct, it's important to note that Home Depot had nothing to do with the damage yet they took immediate action. With Home Depot's prompt attention we received expert advice and generous compensation and were able to have the heater perfectly repaired in time for it's scheduled installation.
The Williams Heater has proved to be a wise choice and an ideal replacement for our old heater. It has performed flawlessly from the first moment we turned it on and we are once again warm and cozy. Now in our 70's, we have been satisfied customers of Home Depot for decades yet this is our first opportunity to thank them for great products and service. Cordially .... John and Donnie Sullivan

This is a great heater. The install instructions are a bit hard to follow and the thermostat that came with it didn't work. It's cheap anyway and I picked up a $25 Honeywell digital which does the job. It's heats out small house ok. Our house has some insulating issues and it would probably be even more efficient if those were rectified. Over all this has been a great investment and much safer than a ventless heater. Also the blower is a nice accessory and well worth the money as an add on.

Installed two of these in new building; install was easy, quality is good, heat up right away. Customer support provided parts on two occasions for one unit--really cooperative in covering us there, though it turned out we had an install error on the one unit that created problems that were mis diagnosed until we found our mistake. Williams supported us, which is very nice to know. Heat up terrific; think we are going to love these.

Had heater installed by a professional and it took him all of four hours. Outside air temp was 22dgF, (1pm) when he lit the furnace and I'm certain it was a good 10dgs colder in the garage. Within 20 minutes the garage warmed to 32dgs. By 730pm the room, (220sqF) was warmed to 48.3 degrees however the outside temperature has dropped to 8dgF and to be honest my insulating needs a lot of help. The Piezo igniter only worked on the initial test, when the technician shut it off to do some leak testing he had to use a match to relight the furnace. The heater did take a pretty good hit during shipping causing the tin shroud to bend and the metal edges to actually split. I called Home Depot to find out if they or Williams would handle my concerns and Daniel indicated he would. Explained the two issues and that I was not really worried about the dented shroud as its in a work shop. He asked to put me on hold for 3-5 minutes while he talked with the vendor. After a minute or two he was back on and had requested a new igniter to be sent express and for the inconvenience of the damaged shroud, credited nearly $70.00 back to my credit card and sent me a $40.00 Hope Depot get card. I've not been a fan of Home Depot for a long, long time, but this really amazed me, actually I was shocked. Trust me I'm usually a difficult customer, hats off to Home Depot!
