Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by IslandBoy Simple, powerful wall heater
I had one of these Williams wall furnaces in a small (640 sf) cabin where we lived for several winters. It always heated the entire place very well. Now that I live in another small dwelling, I bought the same unit and it is the only source of heat. It heats quickly and is quite powerful. Yes, there is normal operation noise, but it is not disturbing (to me) in the least. My only complaint is that the included wall thermostat is neither accurate nor very sensitive to room temperature, with a wide 'swing'. It has to get a bit chilly (5-8 degrees below desired temp) to turn the heater on, and then it lets the room get warmer than desired before it shuts off. It only comes with 13' of thermostat wire, so I had to buy extra wire just to move the thermostat far enough away from the unit. The heater installs fairly easily; you will need 6/2 wire and a dedicated 50A breaker.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by NormcoDIY Waiting on the winter
I live in NW Ohio. My primary heat is wood because it is so readily available and it heats my house very comfortably. That is, until about 1:00 a.m. when the fire goes out. So I installed this wall furnace to maintain temperature in the house until we get up to reload the wood burner. Haven't seen any winter weather yet to provide a comprehensive review. But the trial run looks promising. It pumps a lot of heat into my finished basement! The installation was not too tough but I truly am a pro (no brag, just fact). The instructions were not the best and the terminal connectors for the #6 wires are undersized, making connection very tough for the recommended wire size. Because my feed length is less than 3 feet, I went with #8 and protected the circuit at 40 amps rather than the recommended 50 amps. Now we're just waiting on the winter.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greg Great unit!
Heater was easy to install and he instructions were spot on. Installed 2 of he's units now. Some people claim that he blower is loud. I not feel that it's that bad, quieter than hotel room init. Construction of he unit is good. Heating 1800 Sq foot cabin in Michigan.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Moshood Great product......so far
I just receievd this heater 3 days ago and have it installed in under an hour. I used a pre-ran 8-2 wire and it worked just fine. The only issue was the bery cheap thermostat that came with ot is defective, i didnt mind because i intended to install a programmable thermostat anyway, i however made the company send me a new one (because I paid for a full equipment). The heater has been phenomenal so far heating a 1000sq. ft. The fan is a little loud but not that bad. Overall, the heater is a great product and I'll recommend it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OCDIY VERY impressed with the unit.
I installed my unit yesterday. It was purchased for an icebox of a basement Movie/Man Room in which my wife & kids refused to enjoy, since it was always so cold. (I know.... That might be considered a good thing). Anyway... The basement is a little over 1,600 SF, of open space, fully carpeted, insulated sheet rock walls with around 85% drop ceiling tiles. Basic freestanding heaters were useless in the space. I was concerned this heater would also not heat a room of that size, but decided to take a chance. Boy was I wrong.... I installed the provided thermostat on an inside wall at a distance of about 18' from the unit, & set the sucker to 75. Within less than 6 minutes, the room was nice & toasty. The WHOLE room...!!! My wife & kids even asked me to turn it down cause it was so warm. (I got heat happy). The fan noise is low to moderate. Since it's on for such a short time to warm the space, it's a non issue. With surround sound playing, you wont even know when it's on. I had planned to recess it, but decided to surface mount it when I saw how thin it was. I didn't think it was worth the effort to recess. I'd absolutely recommend this unit to anyone. I only wish is was a little less expensive.. Otherwise... 5 Stars!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Simpson Excellent electric heater for a garage
I recently purchased this heater to be installed in our oversized 2 car garage. After a lot of back and forth thinking about propane or electric, it seemed like this unit and electric were the perfect fit. We have some workout equipment in our garage and often myself or wife are working on home projects out there. The installation of the unit into the wall was fairly straightforward. I wanted to do the recessed mount for a more sleek clean look and to save a pinch of space. My electrician wired up the unit with 6-3 wire and without a hitch, although as some have mentioned it is a pretty tight space to make that turn for the wire. I opted to install a wifi programmable thermostat so we can turn off/on when we want to turn it up.
So far we are extremely happy with this heater, it isn't cold here in Massachusetts yet but in 40 minutes of running it brought our 30' x 30' Garage with 10' ceilings from 50 degrees to 60 degrees during the trial run. Will report back on energy usage, but with municipal electric in our town our KwH is very low so it should be reasonable to keep our garage warm.
