Answer:
A furnace installation is not really a weekend DIY project. I would suggest that you consult with a HVAC contractor.

Answer:
I'm unsure what you mean by all parts as you will receive the furnace only. Since every installation application will be different, the materials needed will vary accordingly.

Answer:
This unit may be installed in upflow, horizontal, and downflow appliations, and is natural gas ready. It can be converted to LP (liquid propane) with the optional LP 347 which is an additional kit and is to be installed in the field. A qualified technician must adjust gas pressure to ensure proper and safer operation once converted to LP.

Answer:
The unit is shipped in the upflow position from the factory. You basically, turn the unit upside down, removed the base panel, and rotate your vent/inducer motor 90 degrees to the left or right to accommodate your venting application. Conversion takes less than 30 minutes typically.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great furnace, great price I am a handy person and have worked with gas lines, electrical, plumbing etc. which made this installation much easier. The furnace installation went smoothly and was far cheaper than having someone else do it. A nice bonus was the online warranty registration which once completed, added an additional 5 years to the parts warranty. I would purchase again in a heartbeat. Furnace is well constructed and runs quietly. I am looking forward to years of service from this unit. Cons: Installation manual is unclear at times...thank goodness this furnace is exactly like almost every other single stage furnace out there...thanks YouTube people for helpful videos which filled in the blanks. One other minor issue was that the sealant weatherstripping on the cabinet door was slightly torn and mis-applied. Some careful removal and re-application did the trick. Someone was in a hurry I guess. Home Depot did a nice job with text/email notification along the way. It was a great experience. Thanks J June 11, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst furnace not worth it at all this furnace is junk i have one first off the heat is worm at the most. My home 1.000 sf takes for ever to get to 70 will run for a hour and mine went just got it, fine things happen 50 bucks for the part and some one too come out the heating and cooling man looks at my furnace and tell me its a 500.00 furnace at 1300.00 price and how sold it too me thing a joke and for that price he will give me a name brand with air for the price i paid the hvac co is out of waterford mich over all do not do it get a name brand thanks ken December 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by works great, design and installation issues though Poor directions (I had to look up online to find better directions even though. I had an ex HVAC worker install it for me). The furnace brings air in from the bottom, which means if you mount this upright, you have to put a table under it and then cut a hole in the table for air intake. Also, I had to make my own filter frame to attach to the bottom of the table since the furnace didn't have a way to attach (and then readily replace) a filter directly on the furnace. Now that it's installed though, it runs great and I love it. December 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good furnace This is my first night with the furnace running. So far, so good. Decided to install it myself with the help of my wife's very knowledgeable grandfather. I don't have natural gas where I live so I had to buy the LP conversion kit. It was easy to convert to LP and installation was easy (since we were replacing an older 80% eff. so all the duct work and plenum was already there. Just had to fabricate a base for it and then hook up the electric, gas line, and thermostat. The trickiest part of the whole setup was fine tuning the gas pressures at the inlet and manifold. But, after a few tries we got it to the correct spec. Pros: Fairly easy to follow installation instructions Free home shipping Seems like a quality piece of equipment Cons: No filter rack included so we had to fabricate one A but pricey but not bad for a 95.5% efficiency November 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overall very good experience despite damaged cabinet. Ours is a simple single stage installation. Furnace appears to be of high quality workmanship and manufacture. Has other good reviews. New installation so cannot comment on efficiency. Easy to install. November 5, 2013
