Answer:
Yes, it is best to remove the screens from your windows. This product produces a foamy soap mixture that would be inhibited by the screens.

Answer:
You can't get the minerals out of the water that cause water spots. At least not without leaving behind another chemical water softener on the glass. You really just need to clean it with a squeegee. Or, you could use distilled water which is mineral free. But that much distilled water is going to cost more than hiring a professional window washer.

Cleans glass, windows, brick and outdoor furniture , I would imagine as long as the panels are sealed like they would be for rain, that it wouldn't do any damage

32 oz. Outdoor Glass Cleaner is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 153.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from great concept; terrible engineering, or manufacturing Most people need a product like this to clean windows they can't reach. But it needs to be engineered and manufactured right. The control valve on MY unit, at least, was imperfect at best. In cleaning three adjacent windows on the second floor, I discovered the rinse setting on the dial was not releasing clean water. It was still releasing a lesser volume of the cleaning solution. I could not get a clean rinse unless I turned the dial down halfway to OFF. That reduced to water pressure to a useless volume. In the process I used almost the entire bottle on three windows!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not purchase!!! I followed the instructions and this product made my windows looks worse than there were before I used the product. Looked into this website to fix anything I did wrong. Saw the following from a happy customer: "... I use this twice a year on my Windows because I have a lot of trees and my windows need cleaning more. It is so easy to use and lasts a long time. I soap up one window. Move on to the next and soap that up and then go back and rinse first one off. Voila clean window AND screen!! It will also reach the second floor..." I followed it the way it was described in the review, even though this was not exactly the directions on the bottle, and again Big FAILURE!! Sorry Windex, you have great products but this is NOT one of them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Need gallon refill as 1 isn't enough Live in Florida, many windows and salt/ sand dirties Windows and house constantly. I used this and had squeegee to wipe as I went perfect Windows ! Cleaned side of house and pool deck well. Need gallon refill as it is wasteful to buy individually and I need 3 of these at least to do house and lawn furniture.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Windex® Outdoor Glass and Patio Concentrated Cleaner We followed the instructions and at the end of it all, the windows were filled with spots of residue that the product left behind. Then I had to really go over all the windows again and literally scrub the spots off, which was not easy to get rid of. So for a job that was supposed to make outdoor window cleaning easier, it left me frustrated with what the windows looked like and the effort to make them look decent again. . I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! This did a wonderful job on our windows and was very easy to use. Our second floor windows have always been difficult to clean, but not any more. The hose provided plenty of pressure to reach even the highest areas (no more ladders or sore necks!), and I used a scrubber and squeegee on a telescoping pole for good measure--it left the windows cleaner than ever, with no streaking. I even cleaned a couple windows through screens that I couldn't remove. One bottle cleaned the whole house with some left over, but I still bought another bottle right away to save for next year. I should add that I'm a 65-year-old woman, so I can recommend Windex Outdoor as a fantastic product for older homeowners!

I spent the better part of an hour washing windows. We sprayed first to remove any loose dirt and grime, and why not? The directions were followed precisely. To say this product is worthless is an understatement. It would not even remove recent bird dung, grim is still intact and other than a little dust removed prior to applying the windex this was a bust ( could have said it was a wash, but didn't want to mislead anyone). This is a waste of your money, find something else.

Altho' it does not do a perfect job, it is the best way I have found to wash these large windows. However, I have been unable to locate this product in any of the stores where it was usually found. I have been told it has been discontinued. Is this true? If not, where can I find it. I live in the Villages, Fl. If this is true, I am really disappointed because I have no other way of reaching these windows.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worked well Used this for the first time because my windows were so dirty and spotty. Rinsed windows well, then sqirted with generous amounts of soap, then rinsed well. Next day in the bright sunlight I was happy, my windows were a zillion times cleaner! I didn't have any problems like described in other reviews. I like this product, will definitely use again.
