Answer:
1.5" inside diameter of pipe (probably add approx. another 1/16th to 1/8th inch for outside diameter), and it will extend approx. 11.75" (clearance) horizontally from attach point.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bad information from Chat support I purchased this product based on recommendations of your Chat expert that the Winegard5 ft. Sweged Masting for Outdoor Antenna was compatible with this product. It was not. The diameters of the two products were completely different and could not possibly fit together in any functional manner. I gave an overall rating of three stars because it looked like it would be useful to someone and I said I would recommend this product for the same reason. I would not recommend it if the situation required a mast extension to get above a roof line, for example. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Perfect Stout construction. Typical U bolt attachment secures the side arm to mast pipe very well. My antenna was then mounted to the side arm using the usual U bolts. September 27, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great help It was nice to have someone who new what and how to look up an item thank you for all your help. September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy I bought this to mount on the gable/peak of my home. I'm installing an OTA (over the air) antenna. The OTA antenna mounting hole is too small for this pipe mount. So, I've gone to the home improvement store and purchased about $3 worth of plastic electric pipe & fittings to make it work. View the pictures to see my modification. I have a 4' section of conduit, a coupler, and a cap. Simply glue the plastic pieces together and the cap fits snugly down into the metal pipe tower. In the pic where I show the parts assembled, realize that I haven't pressed & glued the pieces together yet, and the cap will get pressed down about 4 more inches into the pipe tower. I plan to cut the 4' piece down to reduce flexing of the pipe during windy conditions. Otherwise, it should work just fine. January 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Used for a Personal Weather Station The company that I bought my $300 Personal Weather Station wanted $50 + $25 shipping for virtually the same product. Glad I found this at Home Depot!! March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mount for antenna I set my antenna up in the attic... This mount is very well built, strong but not too heavy July 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Antennae Tower Mount Perfect solution for mounting HD antennae. Easy to mount. May 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gets the job done This antenna mount is well-built, sturdy, and flexible enough to accommodate wall and roof applications. It loses a star because it does not come with mounting hardware. April 26, 2016
