No..... but it does not need one, it has a auto feature that turns the fan higher wh3n needed. It also has a sleep mode but I never use it because I can't hear it on low anyway!

Answer:
No washing. You must replace the HEPA white filter. About $60. We're still waiting for the first of our two machines to indicate it's time to replace. Carbon filters change every 3 months. Extras come with the unit to cover the first year.

No, you should never try to wash the Hepa filter. It is not designed to be washed. The filters are not that expensive just replace each year.

Answer:
No, the true HEPA filter should not be washed and reused. Dependent on the environment, it is recommended that you change the carbon pre-filter every three months and the true HEPA filter every 12 months.

We just bought a house that the original owner was a smoker. The last owners were not and lived there for 5 years. My family thinks I am crazy but I swear I can still smell it! Would this help?

Thank you!

Answer:
Be aware, old smoke isn't smoke and isn't in the air. It's layered on the walls, ceiling, carpet, floors. This unit cleans new smoke while it's still in the air, before it lands.

Sorry, we do not smoke, but it does get rid of odors so I would guess that would hold true for smoke. This is a very powerful machine for its size and will handle just about any air pollution problem.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product I bought this for my 4-year-old daughter and she feels way better after putting into use in her room. It automatically adjust the fan speed so you can just leave it on and forget it! August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great Great product. I would definitely recommend it. It detects scents very easily. Also great as white noise when all the way up. Hoping to order another one very soon. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is very good. It is very quiet and effective. And it's price is fantastic! This product was everything that was advertised about it. It is very quiet and works very well removing particulates from the air and works well in automatic mode which changes motor speeds by its self if it detects anything in the air! August 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does exactly what is described Bought the first one for the home office / kitchen area. A week later, bought a second one for the master bedroom. As is described in the info, the unit detects the presence of an odor, or cat or dog dander, or in our case, cigarette smoke and automatically speeds up the fan until it clears the area of the offending air particles. We couldn't be more pleased with our two units cleaning up around us. June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Never used an air cleaner before - It was easy to set up and seems to be working fine - I wasn't sure, since I thought the air quality was worse than what it actually turned out to be - it revved itself up when I started cooking several days later and cleaned out the smoking odors quickly- I agree with another review that it would have been great if the manufacturer had put some sort of handle on it to make it easier to move from one room to another. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great My son wasn't sleeping well and would wake up with a sore throat.. lethargic. This happened everytime the seasons started changing. After the first night he felt a lot better and within a few days no longer had issues sleeping. Highly recommended! May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Finally Clean Air!! What a difference this air cleanser made in our TV room & kitchen where our puppies, who shed a lot, spend most of their time. The air smells clean & fresh and there is a lot less hair and dust. We will definitely buy another for the upstairs. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works good for the money Don't know how well the air purifier is working for some of my allergies but it does work well for fragrence or smoke allergies. I have to put it up to the setting right below turbo but it seems to help a lot. I leave it run at its own setting which is usually on low but if I need it to filter out something such as smells when I put it up on a higher setting it works really well. Considering its filtering a room bigger than its rated for it seems to work really well. I always complained of the house having an odor (not sure what or why, its clean) but I don't notice it any more. I also have the same type of air purifier in my bedroom and I do believe it has helped with my allergies in that room. I'm overall very happy with it, I guess that's why I have two. January 8, 2014
