Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pump function quit. I bought this model specifically because it had an internal pump that would empty water that collected in its reservoir. I set it up according to instructions, which were pretty easy to follow. It was a nice size and had a neat appearance. The noise level was acceptable. It gave off a fair amount of heat as it operated. It did a great job collecting moisture from the basement of my home, but the pump function worked only sporadically at first and, after about 18 days use, not at all. I'm returning it to Home Depot, who've been great about allowing me to take it to my local store even though it was purchased on line. July 17, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good dehumidifier; bad pump design This unit is the largest dehumid I could find with a pump installed in the unit. I have used the 50 pint Delonghi with pump before this unit, for several years without any issues. However, this unit, while it is a great dehumidifier itself, leaves a lot to be desired with the automatic pumping feature. The unit removes just about as much moisture as you can throw at it, but the pump failed on this unit within just a couple of weeks. I'm thankful it was within the return period and have returned the unit without an issue. For this much money, the pump should work without fail. June 19, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy set-up. Relatively quiet. Efficient at removing water. It was an easy set-up. I am presently using the pump which works well. I run it into the air conditioner/furnace water reservior that then pumps the water outside the house. The Winex pump maybe a little too strong (but only slight overflow) so am working on solving that. I plan to try the gravity way of removing water too. All the controls are easy to use and work well. Can choice differerent on/off times and humiidity values or continuous with one humidity value. My basement has high humidity and the Winex is removing it nicely at a 3 hr on/off and 55% humidity control. The unit says it can work at colder temperatures (rated to 36 F) and that will be the real test as I need to use it during part of the winter months. The last dehumdifier worked but some others have not. In summary I am very pleased with this one at this point in time. June 5, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product I've primarily only used the auto function that keeps the humidity at 50% as it cycles on & off, but so far so good. The humidity in my townhouse dropped considerably. That's amazing considering the very humidity location I live in. I will say that it does take a little while to get used to the noise. It is a little loud; about the level of an average window unit. However, now that I know what to expect, I barely notice the unit when it's on anymore. May 29, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just a hair more than I wanted to spend but love this dehumidifier. The vertical pump is a life saver. The vertical pump eliminated the need to drill big holes in my walls. The first plan was to put the dehumidifier in the playroom of the basement and drill a hole in the wall for the drain hose to reach the sub pump on the other side of the wall. The drop ceiling makes it so I could just run the vertical pump line up and over the wall, back down and into the pump. Installation took all of 5 minutes! No more emptying the bucket! July 17, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Choice! This machine is quiet and effective. We installed it after moving into our rental property. We are very pleased with our choice. Longetivity of performance remains to be seen as it is only 6 months old, but we are off to a great start. Loved the free shipping! September 9, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by this product has great features I have had three different Dehumidifiers and this one has been the best by far, it regulates the humidity and has kept it at verylivable level. the built in pump has been a back saver, not having to carry and empty the bucket. March 6, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I am pleased! I researched many units that contained automatic pumps. This unit had the highest vertical capability and it works very well. Machine is quiet, controls are simple and the unit is easily movable and quite an attractive appliance. Highly recomend. October 24, 2011
