Customer Questions & Answers

What hardware is sold separately????????

for the Winworks wood composite shuteters (12 x 70 raised panel - primed/paintable) - what hardware is required to mount on a brick surface? The description states that additional hardware sold separately but there is no description of the hardware requriements or options.
Asked by: Anonymous
The Winworks shutters come with a standard "L" shaped polycarbonate bracket. These brackets can be used on brick. When the standard hardware is used the shutters will lay flat against the house. The optional hardware that we offer will give the shutters the appearance of being operable but will not make them operable. The optional hardware that is available is the "S" Holdback, Pintel, L-Hinge, Acorn Holdback and the Rat Tail. Again these are not required for installation and both standard hardware and optional hardware can be used on brick.
