The picture shows 2 pieces, is that just to show convex and concave or does the product come with 2 pieces? Is each piece 5 ft or is the length of each piece 2.5 ft making the total length 5 ft?

Answer:
The C40 contains one 5' piece of the channel base and one 5' piece of the channel cover. The photo shows two sections to demonstrate that the cover can be inserted in the base either in a convex or in a concave orientation.

That will provide an estimated fill capacity of cords that will fit in C40 Channel.
Low-voltage formula: 20-40% of C40 Channel cross-sectional area divided by cross-sectional area of cable to be used.
That will provide an estimated fill capacity of cables that will fit in C40 Channel.

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fast Installation for Most users The product itself works well. Due to a heavy texture on my wall, the self-adhesive backing would not secure the item to my walls. Used some small screws instead. Held the power cord & a headphone cord that I needed to cover. A bit pricy but I value my time to fabricate & finish a piece of molding to match the cabinets far higher than the $2/LF for the product. Color is white & I believe it is paintable (will try & paint it in the near future). The cover can be removed for cord access, though a little difficult to do once installed. January 2, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nothing Special There's nothing wrong with these channels, but there's certainly nothing special about them either. They're pretty flimsy, so you also don't get much for your money at nearly $2/LF. I will likely return them, use some fancy molding instead, and still save money.... February 21, 2012
