120 Whey Milk Emergency Serving Grab and Go Bucket is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nutritionally sound, but awful tasting This whey milk certainly has the nutrition needed in an emergency, but it would take a severe emergency for us to drink this stuff. It tastes terrible. We even tried adding chocolate to it to mask the flavor, but it was just awful chocolate-flavored stuff then. We have decided it would work okay in recipes. It was okay in some muffins we made. So for an emergency ingredient substitute for milk, it's probably fine for some recipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wise to Buy Wise Obviously I didn't open any of this product, but I have sampled it at shows and for powdered milk it is very good. A perfect addition to my emergency food storage that I don't actually have to rotate out as much as I do many other things. I keep a large stock of foods that I regularly use, so rotation isn't a big deal, but freeze dried food with a lengthy shelf life like Wise Foods, you cannot go wrong.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Emergency Prepareness I would recommend every family out there have one of these in storage. I have not tasted or used it yet so I only gave it 4 stars. The bucket is a great design for easy storage and to grab in case of an emergency. One nice thing it is has an up to 25 year life span that you do not have to rotate every year. You can never be prepared enough for a disaster.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the product for me, sorry This was literally my first time ever trying any sort of "Emergency" Product. At this point, I'm just hoping I never have that much of an emergency that I have to use these types of products. First off, there were NO instructions on how to even open the big white tub. A small opening like on other cans, did NO good. After fighting a losing battle, I had to resort to the use of 2 flat screwdrivers, and a pair of pliers to pry the lid off. No instructions anywhere on that bucket about lid removal so as to even get to the product. Finally pried if off after more than 5 minutes. Inside I find the exact number of bags, TEN. Five white bags DATED 09/13/16, and FIVE gold bags DATED OVER A YEAR AGO on 3/21/16. These were the production/manufacture dates. I decided to use the OLDER bag first, regardless of whether they are supposed to last 25 years or not. I still would have expected them to have been produced in at least the year 2017. Very hard to mix even 2 Tablespoons of the powder into 2 ounces of water prior to adding the final 6 ounces. Definitely recommend using VERY COLD water next time, as compared to just tap water. In the future, I might use it to make macaroni & cheese, but I am not a fan of this product, Also the cost per 8 OUNCE glass was about .48 cents each. Very expensive, in my opinion.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Tastes like real milk!!! In the large bucket that this milk comes in are 10 pouches of powdered milk. I was a bit curious when I opened the container because there was powder everywhere. I thought it was just because it came from a powdered milk factory. After some investigating I found 2 of the pouches had small tears in them, thus releasing the powder into the bucket. If this were an emergency situation and I was desperate for some emergency milk, I would have used those pouches, but being as this is not the zombie apocalypse, I threw them away. So I received 8 useful pouches out of the 10 that were packaged. The foil pouches are not nearly as durable as MRE pouches, and also do not have a pre-cut notch to easily tear them open. You will need a blade of some sort to easily open them. With all that said, onto the actual milk. To prepare, you pour the package into 3 C of water until it is dissolved, then add another 5.5 C. At this point I was grossed out because it smelled like old milk. I put it in the refrigerator for about 8 hours to chill, then did the appearance/taste test. The bad odor was gone so I'm not sure what that was about. It looks very close to regular milk with a very minor yellow tint to it. What really surprised me was the taste. IT TASTES JUST LIKE REGULAR MILK! I was stunned. Overall I would say that the product itself is very good, the quality is not good because of the torn packages, and I don't know what the cost of emergency milk is so I am giving this an "average".
