Used these scissors for a Scout project that involved cutting upholstery fabric. Worked like a charm. Were a great savings over buying something made specifically for cutting thick fabric. Continue to use in the home and shop and they cut better than any scissors in the house.

Very sharp and strong. Cuts through upholstery vinyl and 1/4" leather like butter. Best $9 scissor I ever got.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best scissors for the money I go through a lot of scissors cutting road cloth and other things around my ranch. Those cheap dollar scissors break quickly. For under $6 bucks, these scissors are solid and sturdy and can be used wearing light gloves. Staying sharp so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What more could you ask for???? Ok, they may not be the best thing since sliced bread, but these are a good heavy duty pair of scissors for general home and shop use, especially for the price. Wiss is a top brand in the scissors industry (just ask any phone company service person, as they ALL have a pair of Wiss scissors in their pocket or tool pouch (a smaller version for what it's worth). I will say the plastic handles are comfortable for me, even though I have x-large hands, and they are comfortable. I have had zero issue with them so far, and I've cut a lot of different items, including 9" fiberglass insulation (which is pushing the limits of the scissors). They may not be quite as good as a pair of professional upholstery scissors, but they do not cost $40 to $150 per pair either. For the money, well worth picking up a pair or two.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay for home / craft use /// light duty. Okay for light duty. Thumb piece broke off trying to cut 1" drip irrigation tubing. Blade only goes into the handle art an inch or so, secured by a 1.8" plastic pin. The blades were cutting the material but no way to get leverage on the cut without breaking the handle(s). I was probably asking too much of the tool. Went back to cutting the tubing with garden snips. Comfortable handles & steel blades are a plus.
