It was wonderful for making circular cuts and fine trimming on the art work here is a photo of what I did with the snips.

I have (3) sheet metal snips of varying vintage that couldn't do the job in a tight space. I bought the right and left hand version of this tool and they did the job - you need both for tight sheet metal work. I am a very happy customer!!

I bought a set of these about 3 months ago, unfortunately. I'd say they worked decently for about 2 weeks until I started having problems with the pivot bolt becoming loose and the jaws having too big of a gap between blades, causing rolled edges or just simply not cutting at all. Constant tightening of that bolt in order to get back to barely cutting....a poor product deserves poor marks and a poor review. Do yourself a favor and buy anything but these...Midwest or even Milwaukee if you're really on a budget. Remember, quality tools may have a quality price tag, but if your livelihood depends on getting the job done, it's worth every penny.

I've used these snips for the last 15 or 20 years.
I push them very very hard.
They never let me down.
Recommended as the best.

These are fine when they're brand new. But after cutting light gauge pipe and the occasional dozen slips and drives, the pivot bolt just loosens waaay too much and will never tighten up again.I've had mine for four months and maybe actually used them for work half that time. Just spend the extra couple dollars and get Malco or Midwest or Kleins. Heck, even the Stanley ones are better than these but the jaws on those break. New packaging tries to convince faithful Wiss users that they're better now...whatever

Wiss has always made an excellent tool, and they still do. Heavy duty shears made in the US. I'll keep buying them as long as they are the same quality and made here.
