Can it put loose vinyl siding panels back in place

Asked by: hammer24
Yes, that is what I use it for.

What tool can put loose vinyl siding panels back in place?

Asked by: MaryBeth
Vinyl siding is locked into place by engaging the tops and bottoms of adjoining panels. The bottom panel should slide up to lock into the panel above it. If it won't lock, it's possible that the lip is damaged.

Looked at several home depot stores in this area. No one had it in stock. I finally asked an associate at the Southgate store in Colorado Springs if he could order it. He reluctantly ordered it and I finally got it approximately 3 weeks later. Great product. Poor, Poor customer service. Jim in Colorado.

It worked better than a screwdriver... however... you can't just place it anywhere under the lip of siding as it won't grab. You have to place it where 2 pieces are joined together and then hook it in there and then slide it down to where you need it. This was the only downfall I found but it works great otherwise.
