This will be my second time to use this product. The first time was on two, newly needed, gates. That was two years ago and the product has held up as advertised. It repels water and hasn't faded. The second time, a new $10,600.00 fence surrounding our backyard (finished last month, May 2016). My first experience, with the gates, went well and the product covered well. However, if you use the sprayer make da*mn sure you cover stuff you don't want to get this product on!! I can't stress that enough! The "over spray" will get on a lot of things you don't want to get it on. Especially cement. Also, while using the sprayer, it WILL run on you. I tried spraying lightly, but that didn't cover well. If your meticulous, you might want to have a paint brush handy to "work in" the runs. I didn't do that. I covered my fence heavily with this product. Up close, you can see the runs. Far away, you couldn't. I covered, roughly, 400 feet of fence (front and back) with 10 bottles of this product. Yes, 10! I spent my whole weekend applying this product. When you touch it, after it dries, it sorta feels like a plastic coating has been laid over the fence. I've used other products and the wood seemed to soak up the product more than this one did. The lighter the tone of the product the easier the coverage (dark versus light spots). I've heard several complaints about the sprayers. Here's what you need to know. First, when you pull it out of the box, tighten the handle of the sprayer by turning it clockwise (right). Every single one I pulled out was not tightened. This will keep air from escaping the pump. Second, you will have to adjust the sprayer. On the very end of the sprayer you will see a brass nozzle. You want to tighten it, then loosen it (very little). This will give you a fan like spray. The looser the nozzle the less it will fan. You may also, from time to time, need unscrew the nozzle and clean it out. I've had little particles from the product get stuck in the nozzle. Hope this helps.....Mic drop....

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Corndozer Used on Balcony Deck
I got this on a friend's rrecommendation for my upstairs (covered) patio deck, which hadn't been sealed in years (just got the house). It worked really well and was easy to apply. I underestimated how much I needed, so I had to order another, but will finish the deck and apply a second coat when the rest arrives. The deck soaked it up very well, so it will need a second coat.
I ordered enough to do the underside as well. I had to use a roller on the stick to even out a few puddles, but mostly it went on very evenly. In a year or so's time I'll remind myself to update the review to see how it has gone.

It appears to be effective but I cannot truly know for at least a year. Convenient packaging which actually is cheaper per gallon than when buying 1 gallon cans. Went on well but do not expect predicted coverage. Wood, shadow box, fence soaked it up as expected.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Consumer Wood Rx Natural stain - Time will tell
Time will tell how long WoodRx lasts but first impressions look good. Water beads up on it. I went with the "natural" color stain and applied it on two different types of Pine wood. One was a floating dock and the other was a fixed dock, both built six months ago. The new lighter color pressure treated wood (CA) that looks very much like untreated wood, the color was on the yellow side when applied. On darker PT (Southern Pine Lumber SunDeck), it had a more natural color to it. So test in a small area first if color is important to you. I had ordered two of the two gallon sprayers and one arrived with a broken handle. Better packing would have prevented it, hence one less star. Applying it was very easy and went quickly. Spray it on and brush around spots where over spray may be an issue as the over spray will stain. Brush out any puddles. I sprayed some into a small bucket to adjust the spray head and to get some I could brush on around cleats, fixtures, bump rails,... Short wait and do it again. Easy clean up.

Best dock sealer I've found. Wish it was sold in stores, as before, instead of having to order online.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OBXTUCKER Excellent product. Highly recommended
I purchased 6 gallons (3 containers) to use on a new treated dock. Dock was 5 months old and dry when this product was applied.
Ordering from Home Depot was simple and delivery was faster than expected (and stated). It arrived at the store in about 8 days in 3 individual boxes from the manufacturer. The only reason I gave the review 4 stars, instead of 5, was because of the packaging. The stain/sealer come premixed in the 2 gallon container and the top is just screwed on. There is nothing to keep it from leaking/spilling if the box tips over and the top isn't totally secure.
Sprayer is your typical 2 gallon weed type sprayer with adjustable fan nozzle. Nozzle is brass and the application process is quick and easy. Shake the bottle, pump it up and begin spraying. Couldn't be any easier.
After you're finished, rinse out the bottle, hose and nozzle to save and use for future spraying projects.
