The product works great. We had previously used other wood sealers and there is no comparison. We just went through our first winter on the deck and railing and it looks as great as the day we applied Wood RX. It is more expensive, but totally worth it since the other sealers had to be applied every year and did not keep the snow from saturating the wood. It's important when applying the product not to let it puddle. To avoid this, I sprayed the product on and my husband brushed it into the wood before it dried. To make the job a little easier we used duck tape to attach a 4 inch brush to the end of a long handled pole. We have a huge wrap around porch approx. 500 ft. and we were able to apply two coats the same day - about 8 hours.

The WoodRx Sienna is a good product. Covers well and really seals the wood. We found it easy to use and are very happy with the results. Compared to what we started with, the deck looks brand new. The product is a bit slippery when dry so we added an anti slip agent on the second coat and it worked out well. Spraying worked out ok, any wind at all and the overspray went everywhere. Worked much better on the deck surface but all of the railings were "painted" with a brush, spraying them seemed to be wasting a lot of the stain. All in all we're very happy with the results, time will tell how durable the product is.

I bought this product to stain/protect my new deck. I used some of the leftover on a wooden fence that I have. For the fence, it was awesome. I covered ground quickly, easily, and it looks pretty good with a minimum of fuss. For the deck, my primary purpose, it looks good on the wood but I had issues with the house. Also, as per the instructions, I put on two coats. This made the floorboards pretty slick. I probably need to get some rugs or a non-slip spray to keep people (me) from slipping on them, even when dry.
The biggest issue, however, is the mess it made of my house. I figured it would take at least as much time to put up protective plastic all over the place as it would to re-paint the areas that got spattered. And while that was true for the painted parts (my house was painted recently enough that I didn't need to prep the surface and I had left over paint lying around) I did not take into account the vinyl windows or painted metal back door. Ultimately, I had to use a water-naptha solution (Klean-Strip VM&P naptha) with a soft cloth to clean the stain off the vinyl window trim. The solution doesn't work as well for the painted metal. Still working on that one. In the end, it is clear that I should have put up the plastic, at least over the windows and door. It would also be a good idea to spray water on your lawn and plants before spraying the stain. This stuff gets everywhere, because it bounces off the surface and the wind blows the mist away from where you're spraying.
For much of my second coat, I dragged the sprayer across the boards in direct contact with the wood at very low pressure to deposit streams of product on the boards and brushed it in. Sort of defeats the purpose of the sprayer, but the second coat beaded up enough that the brush was necessary to even out the finish. I'm pretty sure I used a lot less stain this way, at least.

Looks fantastic on a new wood deck. Time will tell how it holds up in Florida weather. I didn't use the sprayer but applied it with a small roller to avoid over spray. It dries fast so keeping a wet edge is a challenge even in the shade. If it lasts 2-3 years I will be happy.

This stain and sealer is amazing. We had around 600 sq. feet of deck and it took us about 5 hours to apply two coats. One person used the sprayer and the other used a paint brush to smooth out any product puddling. I got tired of bending over to brush so we attached the paint brush to the end of a paint roller pole with duct tape and it worked great. This product dries really fast. It rained unexpectedly about 3 hours after we finished and the water beaded up and did not penetrate the sealer. The product will stain anything that it is sprayed on so make sure that you mask off any area that you do not want to stain. It took us more time to prep the house than it did to stain and seal the deck. You can contact the company directly and they will send you stain samples. I originally wanted a darker stain, but the Sienna color is beautiful. They have great customer service and can answer any questions that you have about the product. I ordered the product online from Home Depot and received the shipment within 4 business days! Very optimistic that this will hold up to an Ohio winter! Sorry I wanted to attach a picture, but it kept giving me a Gateway time out.

This is a nice product and it looks good. It takes a little more work than the videos online as mine had lots of puddling. Other than that it is good and I think it will last a long time.
