Product Overview

The Woodford Model 17 freezeless sillcock that will not rupture when the faucet is shut-off and the hose is removed. An Anti-siphon backflow device protects the faucet from any potential back pressure and contaminated water flowing back into the main line. A stainless-steel seat and rubber packing prevent faucet from leaking. Repair parts are readily available.

  • PX inlet - 1/2 in. PEX tube fitting
  • Faucet will not rupture from freezing when the faucet is shut off and the hose is removed (hose sold separately)

They advertise this as a 10-inch 0.5" pex to 0.75 " brass interface. But the spec sheet says it's 17 inches long. And it has a press-on connection. Sharkbite? Then the little video shows you how to sweat the bib onto the brass supply line. What is the correct information for this product?

You do not sweat PEX, you place tubing onto the PEX and Crimp the tubing onto the inlet. The video is just showing "generic" information about sodering since there are various inlet options like threading, crimping, sodering, etc. Read Less
