Customer Questions & Answers

Would like to use this baseboard in the bathroom and was wondering if it would hold up well in moisture. Also is this real wood or MDF or substrate?
Asked by: 1laduree
yes- it is real wood. I space my wet area wood slightly off the floor (one nickel thickness) and caulk.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice Baseboard This is a very nice wood baseboard. It is NOT MDF. The quality is good and takes paint very well. I have used these a few times and they work great. Would be nice if Home Depot carried them in stock rather than having to order online. Several local builders use it a lot and for small projects that need matching, I have to order online.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from What I was looking for This product exactly matched the existing trim which had been damaged over time in an older home. i was unable to find it locally, so the on-line purchase was a good find. Price was competitive with similar products, delivery (in-store) was prompt.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rework required I was dissappointed that every board had the worst primer application i have ever seen. Every board had multiple globs of dried paint. I had to sand every board. After I reworked each board I discovered that some of them were bowed. This is something I wouldn't expext with finger jointed material.
