I love this roller tray. Make it easier on yourself by purchasing the clear plastic trays that go easily in the tray. When you are finished you just toss the plastic clear plastic tray out and not so much of a mess to clean up.

I used this with tray liners and it works extremely well. It doesn't bend.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Alleycat Cleans up well and does not rust
I have been repainting room after room in the house we bought recently. I have several old trays, most of them rusty, dented and encrusted with paint from past projects. This new, inexpensive tray does the job and cleans up very well. Of course, being plastic, it will not rust. The only minus I have noticed so far is the lack of a clip arrangement on the shallow end of the tray for clipping it to the top of my step ladder, so I use it for painting areas that are reachable without a ladder. I have another tray with the clipping mechanism that I use for ladder work.

Plastic cleans up well, and won't rust. I've had too many metal trays rust. No worries here!
The tray is not pretentious and doesn't try to be something it isn't. That may sound strange, but my last plastic tray tried to act like some sort of old fashioned tray complete with ladder hooks. Not this one, and that's a good thing, because ladder hooks on a plastic tray are a recipe for disaster.
Working with this on a firm surface is perfect. My only concern is that I sometimes like to pick up my tray with one hand (the other has a roller in it!). This tray does NOT pass my "one hand twist test." If you pick it up in the middle while full, the tray may take a quick twist which could dump contents. Some slightly more expensive plastic trays will have more ribbing to avoid this, but then they are also heavier and bulkier.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Raven NICE TRAY BUT DOESN'T FIT DISPOSABLE LINERS OR HANG ON LADDER
This is a heavy duty, thicker plastic paint tray that works great if you don't mind cleaning it out every time. The disposable liners don't fit very well and slide around when using a roller. Has no way of attaching to a ladder so it's strickly used when you can sit the tray down on something. Works well as a stand alone but not for ladder work or holding onto while painting.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EricG Great value and good design
I've gone through countless paint trays in my life, but this is one of the best. A few years ago I switched from metal to plastic and I love not having to clean the trays, the dried paint just peels away leaving the tray like new.
Besides paint, I use the tray to mix 2-part epoxy. A paint tray is much better than a pot for this purpose as epoxy heats up too fast in a pot because of the chemical reaction, while it keeps much cooler in the tray, giving me more time to work with the epoxy.
This paint tray is at the sweet point between price and quality. 'Dollar store' paint trays are just too flimsy to be useful for serious jobs. This one is stiff and large enough to hold a useful amount of paint, while inexpensive enough that I won't be heartbroken when and if it ever cracks.
The sturdy legs on the upper end of the tray keep it from rocking on uneven surfaces, a nice feature!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DaneDame Sturdy & easy to clean
This Wooster Deluxe Roller Tray is a sturdy one-- the plastic offers SOME flex, but not too much, so the tray is super easy to clean out afterwards. The only thing I would like to see changed is the addition of "hook" legs at the back, like their metal version, so you could secure this tray to the top of your step ladder for higher paint jobs.
All in all, a good product for the price.
