I've always used angle brushes. When I'm not using a roller, you'll find an angle brush in my hand. I usually use a 2" brush but I have a LOT of trim to paint and felt the need for something a little beefier, that holds a little more paint, but it still had to be an angle brush. This Wooster Pro was perfect! It's not only wider than my old 2", but it is thicker (hence, ability to hold more paint). It cleans up really easily, too, partly because of a tip I learned years ago--wet the brush before dipping into the paint and it will keep the paint from wicking all the way up the bristles into the metal binding. I'll never give up using angle brushes and I'm glad to have this one in my paint toolkit.

This is a great brush for water based paint. It holds a lot of paint and the fine bristles leave a nice smooth finish with nearly no brush marks. The brush is over 12" long giving you more reach on the hard to get to places. Clean up is easy with soap and warm water.
The brush is a very well constructed with a high quality wooden handle that has a hole for hanging the brush for storage. I used this brush to apply acrylic paint to a cabinet that I am refinishing and was extremely happy with it.

I was very pleased with the performance of this brush. I just finished building a new house and sad to say bought cheap brushes because of all the other things I had to buy. Needless to say if I had just bought a few good brushes like this one I would have spent less. I really don't care for painting but this brush makes the job effortless. The bristles are tight so you don't lose any when painting bigger jobs. And they are nice and soft so you barely see any paint lines. Hard to believe that I have so much to say about a brush but I am sold on the Wooster quality and it will show in all my future brush purchases.

I used this brush with Behr Deckover paint, to paint the rails of a walkway from the car port to the house. The paint is thick, and having a nice brush makes it easier to apply. This brush does a nice job even over rough surfaces and in tight spots. The angle edge really helped in getting the edges where the rails come together. The brush is a perfect size for the 2x4 and 2x6 the rails are made from. It cleaned up nicely through several cycles of painting, with the water-based paint. The handle and weight and balance seem just right.

Not sure if it's because it's new and/or a quality brush, but it makes paint a little more enjoyable and the results look better too. Nice straight clean edges.
I am not a pro painter or painter by trade just a home owner, with a fair amount of painting under my belt and a fair amount to do (just bought a new home).
The brush is comfortable, my hand takes longer to cramp up then with other brushes. It also hold a good amount of paint. Clean up was like any other brush, except I knew that is was perfectly clean before I started so I think I tried a little more to get it back to that after it's first use.
Works nice for cutting in and paint window sashes and whatever the other parts of the window are that typically get painted.
And I only used this with latex paint and cleaned with soap and water.

I got this polyester brush in addition to a china bristle brush, to use on some trim work with latex paint. Just like the china bristle, this one was very easy to use. The 2 1/2" size is really versatile for trim, baseboards, crown molding or cutting in. What I really like about these brushes is that they fit well and are comfortable to use, which is important. Quality was great with no loose bristles. Overall, very happy with these brushes.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PSHome Makes painting doable
Painting is not my thing, but if I have to do it, I do it with high quality paint and brushes. This brush doesn't make me a 'painter', but it makes things easier and less painful. The brush holds a nice edge and makes cutting a lot easier than with 'standard' brushes. A quality of all Wooster brushes is the clean up...they always clean up as good as new. If you're new to painting and are wondering if you really need to spend $10-15 on a brush...YES.

The Wooster Pro is a well made, quality sash brush. The handle appears to be burch or maple hardwood. The ferrule is probably aluminum with nice brushed metal finish. The bristles are polyester. They're long to provide a light touch on the surface, and they're tips are finely splayed to provide a smooth finish.
The brush is American made with global materials. I expect long service from this quality brush.
