I simply like this brush. Affordable, good balance, easy to clean. I've run it through about 10 use and cleaning cycles this last month and it is holding up well.
I think for a mid priced brush, this brush is perfect.
Look at the line I free-handed in my picture between the accent wall and the main wall. No problem cutting that in cleanly. It looks great and was a breeze to cut that quickly.

my painter like this one. The smaller one was fine, but this size she felt was best at being able to manage the paint and application.

I don't know if it's because I've been using cheap paintbrushes in the past but this one has exceeded my expectations. Even application. I also purchased the 2 1/2 inch angle brush as well. Definitely worth the money...I'll never buy the cheap brushes again.

A very good brush [at least comparable to Purdy]. I use primarily for painting exterior brick mold and window sashes with high-quality latex semi-gloss paint and the result are terrific. Have also used for cutting in larger items with oil-based primers and finishes ... again, great results. Have not used for clear coats.
Anytime you spend more than $6 for brushes you want to keep them for a few jobs. And if you clean them within 6 hours [longer if wrapped and put in freezer], they won't disappoint.
Definitely a re-buy ... I always keep four on-hand, two each [one cleaned, one NIP] for oil and latex.
[I have the 1" for for lite dividers as I do a lot of french doors.]

I used this Wooster brush to cut the corners on an accent wall in my family room. I used it with latex paint. I like angled brushes and this brush felt good to use. The handle was just slightly narrower than my other brushes, and I think that made a difference in how it felt in my hand. I don't have huge hands, so that may be a consideration before buying. Larger hands may make this uncomfortable, but for my average sized paws, it felt great. It held paint well, cut well on the corners, and cleaned up nicely after I was done. I have used Wooster brushes before and this was another quality brush.

A great brush like this saves time and assures a better job than cheap brushes. I have used it for cut-in work while painting walls and ceilings that have a lot of chair rails, crown moldings and trimmed door and window openings. I also have used it to paint window sashes. It holds a good amount of paint and helps one spread it evenly for good edge coverage that make for a professional-looking result. It cleans up well when using water-based paints if one uses COLD water and a bar soap like Octagon. Spend a little extra on a quality brush like this to save time and effort.
