Many DIYers know, through good and bad painting experiences, that not all paint roller covers are the same. You can buy the inexpensive multi-packs of covers, but you get what you pay for-- they don't hold paint without dripping, they leave bits of lint in your paint job, and you might as well toss them as try to clean them for re-use.
Not so with this Wooster high density knit roller cover. I tried it out on a ceiling paint of several rooms, and it performed great. My ceilings are very textured swirl patterns, but this roller cover maintained its thickness and provided excellent coverage (with no shedding) despite the highly uneven surfaces. And I was impressed at the amount of paint the cover held-- about twice as much as other less expensive covers-- which translates to half the number of times I had to reload the roller.
The cover cleaned up very easily, and I appreciated its sturdy polypropylene core-- I look forward to multiple uses of this cover.

This is a pretty good roller cover for basic residential use. It's better than the bargain rollers that come in the painting kits, but not so fantastic I would suggest everyone only use this. It's good for the job. Does appear to shed fibers in the paint, which loads onto the roller well. It cleans up pretty good if you're going to try to reuse it.

I used this roller to paint some textured walls. It seemed to hold an adequate amount of paint, and coverage was fairly smooth. I had to go over the walls a second time to be sure all of the nooks and grooves were filled, but I would have done that anyway.

GOT THIS ITEM JUST IN TIME TO START THE WHOLE HOUSE (inside) REDO. I NORMALLY ONLY USE A ROLLER (wash and use) ABOUT TWICE. THEY JUST DON'T FULLY CLEAR OUT NO MATTER WHAT. SO AFTER WASHING A DRYING THEY START TO HARDEN A BIT. THESE ROLLER'S HOLD THERE PRINT AND YOU CAN JUST ABOUT FORGET THE DROP CLOTH, AS THERE NO DIPPING OR SPLATER. BUT IF YOU ARE LIKE ME AND STEP ON THE PAN OR KICK THE PALE, BEST USE ONE. YOU GET GREAT COVERAGE AND AN EVEN FINISH, I'M USING HD'S TOP INDOOR PAINT, BUT I STILL NEED TWO COATS AS I HAVE BLACK SMOKE HASE ALL AROUND THE UPPER HALF OF MY WALLS. THE ROLLER MAKES FAST WORK OF EVEN DOING TWO COATS. AS FAR AS CLEANING, THEY DO WASH AND RAISE OUT GOOD,, WITH THET EXTRA HOLDING MAKE SURE YOU ROLL OUT ALL THE PAINT YOU CAN. OR YOU BE A FEW RAISING THEY OUT. I LIKE THEN SO MUCH, I TOOK BACK THE ROLLERS I HAD AND REPLACE THEM WITH THIS ONE.

Don't cheap out when you need to paint something important like your house. You will regret not buying a good roller like this one.
